    Shocker in ‘times change’.. let’s stick to horse & cart, coal mines & paper mail because god forbid we have to learn new technologies.

    No issues with new technology advancement.
    Would expect club to have correct infrastructure in place if they’re going to introduce it though!

    I'm not sure what the QR code on the rewards page is actually for, but I'm fairly certain it won't work to scan you into the ground. All the information from the club about digital season tickets has stated that there will be no barcode/QR code, and that only NFC will work.

    Ah fair enough, I’ve emailed the club either way. It does say ‘show my card‘ though.

    The FAQs said that would be the way to do it - need the further guidance promised though:

    What happens if I lose or change my phone during the season?

    Supporters will be able to re-download their Digital Season Ticket to a new phone through their ticketing account. Full details on how to do this will follow in the coming weeks ahead of our opening fixture vs Preston North End (Sat, Aug 5th).

    Perfect thank you, just found my ST (QR code) on my log-in.

    Presumably you can just screenshot and send this on.

    Leicester, Southampton, Boro, Stoke, Leeds, Bristol City. City fan I am but this season is the third for NP and he had built this team. The younger boys one year older, good signings in defence and Knight in midfield. Defence stronger and we have lots of players that can score. Starting eleven not easy to choice for NP, many Good players.

    Don’t see Stoke getting top half.

    If a move is imminent then why play him in pre-season friendlies?

    Risking a £25m asset in games that don't mean much at all to the future of Scott. For us too, in a sense if a move is imminent why play him in games in which we will soon have to replace.

    I don't doubt that a move could be imminent and a leaving out wouldn't be borne out if petulance or anything but trying to rhink or the economic or even team building rationale for playing him in Behind Closed Doors pre season friendlies in that context.

    I assumed we were making a statement. ‘This is our asking price, we are more than happy to keep him, pay in full or don’t have him.’

    We also played Wolves if memory serves in 2009. Maynard scored an impressive goal, a sign of things to come as he scored a host of them in 2009-10.

    Ajax as well that pre-season, didn't go so well thst. 4-0 but a bit of a showcase game for sure. Wasn't Suarez playing that evening too?

    Suarez scored the 1st IIRC

  7. Interesting way of viewing it.

    I assumed it was considered the best league in the world primarily because it’s the most watched, globally, by some distance.

    A world-wide audience of more than 3.2billion people, supposedly.

  8. Just had a look for the first time, 550 points. It’s pretty piss poor isn’t it?

    Ah well, won’t be losing any sleep over it.

    Would be excellent I think if;

    Points rolled over;

    Away tickets/travel could be purchased and/or subsidised with points;

    Points collected could be used as a contribution towards the following season’s season ticket.
