  1. It’s hilarious, I think all fans of the top 4 thought at one stage “we’re pushing each other onto records points totals” but in truth we have all what the bed, there’s no point trying to guess but Leicester having a 17 point lead over us come the new year and being caught has destroyed them 😂

I’m not concerning myself with that, although I still have nightmares about one moment in particular…

Sat next to my best friend at ER (when it was easy to get tickets) you’d just signed Kilkenny and I was slagging him off…

He picked up the ball advanced and smashed it in off the underside of the bar from 25 yards, every ****** around me in silence followed by

”why the **** couldn’t that shit *** do that for us”

Surely with today's technology, there has to be a way of season ticket holders letting the club know that they can't make certain games due to holidays or family commitments etc, then making their seats available for general sale.

As an incentive, if a season ticket holders seat is then resold, the club could add points to season ticket holders My City Rewards balance.

I looked to buy 3 tickets earlier this week as plans changed meaning we could make it, but unfortunately could not book 3 seats together. Then watch it on Sky and see 100's of seats empty, especially in the South Stand.

Maybe there could be the opportunity of a resale the day before a game of any seats made available.

    We have it at Leeds.

ST Holders mark on their accounts games they can’t attend, they go for resale as a block at a specific time (all the ST resales)

ST Holder gets their average £ per game credited to their account to come off next years ST and club gets the extra as they sell it on for more.

They are average. We are inconsistent and lacking quality. What has changed since we ran them close at their place? We made a bog standard Leeds team look like Real Madrid tonight. I’m actually surprised by how poor this league is this year given the big clubs involved. I just can’t see a way back for Manning after tonight.

My best friend who I drove up to ER said it was an even game, I was confused, it was 20+ shots for us, 8 on target, I think you had less than 10 shots and 1-2 on target.

You had more moments than tonight by far but once Archie Gray worked out how to play your LW it was comfortable.

  5. Well.

Won’t talk too much about the game, first 15 minutes you pressed us, looked dangerous, got in behind a couple of times and I was concerned for the night ahead, ended up that was it bar one chance, feel we should have been 3/4 up within 60 minutes, awful finishing and your defence was all over the place.

Main point I’ll make sat in E34 Dolman next to the away fans, filled with 18-25 year olds (good you’d think) loads of fans for the future, most of them probably watched a total of 65 minutes, on their phones just talking to each other, no contribution to atmosphere even during your bright start, up and down to go to the toilet probably 3/4 times, selfies etc. i was very surprised at the atmosphere, it was as poor as the football.

Obvious Jimmy Saville chants which Leeds fans replied with MOT.

    2 minutes applause impeccable 👏🏻

Don’t see you getting anywhere near the playoffs based on that, disjointed, no fight, no plan, little pace.

I thought your MoM was your keeper.

Im no expert on the area surrounding elland road, but why arent the club increasing capacity to fit more people in? A year or 2 in the prem should allow at least some improvements, and leeds are always throwing money around for new players? The stadium hasnt been worked on for years has it?

The previous regime with Orta spending the money pissed it up the wall, there was a plan to increase and rebuild and the new owners also have a plan, unfortunately we aren’t there yet and Elland Road (all of us say it) is an absolute dump, imo 3 stands need ripping down and starting again, visiting your shiny new bits when they first opened made me jealous, also when the wife made me go into AG on the bloody gromit hunt!

Friday night, winter, live on sky, Any genuine loyal Leeds fan should have been able to get a ticket. If you’re having to sit in home ends all the time, that doesn’t say much about your loyalty to the club.  You feel the need to come on here and tell us you’re sat in our end; not to be respectful and open dialogue about the game but to try and boast about how massive you are. I can see right through it. I hope you have a throughly miserable evening. COYR!!!!

    Let’s do some simple maths.

Leeds have not sold away season tickets for the last 3 years, fully sold out, you can’t get an away season ticket without a home season ticket.

There is a 20,000 waiting list for a home season ticket, away ticket sales usually go in the order of

There are 3,000 away season tickets. Any allocation over 3,000 then goes in a ballot to home season ticket holders (that don’t have an away ST, or members)

I’m down to about 2,000 on the Home Season ticket waiting list and also a member, the ONLY chance I have of sitting in an away end is places like Blackburn where they usually give us 7,000 allocation, other than those allocations you will always find Leeds fans amongst the home fans generally causing no trouble at all.

By the way, being a member at Leeds doesn’t even guarantee me a home ticket, there’s 30,000 members fighting it out over 10,000 tickets. So to even get a home ticket is pot luck.

I hope this goes some way to alleviating your question about my effing loyalty, you try watching the club you love whilst not celebrating goals and politely applauding when the opposition score!

You’ve read the situation completely wrong, anyway have a good night 👍

There’s an away end you know.

Cool, full of away season holders, give us 10,000 allocation and I’ll just about qualify for an away ticket.

Those people on this forum for a while know I’ve sat amongst you for years, I do it at a few away grounds, I don’t see the problem, if you can’t fill it yourself then as long as I’m respectful I’m putting money into your club with no hassle 👍

  9. Hello!!

As usual I’ll be sitting on my hands somewhere amongst you!!!

Usually I’m fairly confident of a win, but we’ve ended the window in a weaker place than we started and our fullback issues are all for everyone to see.

Still playing 17 year old Gray at RB (although we just signed Roberts on loan last night so may not be going forward), Gray not a RB and had some issues against you targeting him earlier in the season.

LB…well, Firpo has never fancied playing in England. An absolutely shite defender and an okay attacker seems injured for half a season each year, awful signing by Orta. Byram however excellent at this level is also made of paper and hasn’t played more than 20 league games for what is probably a decade, in our wisdom we didn’t feel LB is an issue…!!! Except the fans have been screaming it’s an issue for years.

Due to Gray being at RB we play two DMs in midfield that completely narrows down our attacking threat to 4 players who I think with some clever doubling up in places can be held off.

In addition, if we do end up going 1-0 up…don’t despair, we then turn into this arrogant lack of intensity bunch of posers that don’t want to finish a game off.

I’m not confident about tonight at all and I think you will get the 3 points or at the very least score a late equaliser.

  10. What a ******* shambles.

Sack a manager who has steadily each year increased the points total at the end of the season, whilst having two hands tied behind his back! It’s stupidity like this that is part of the reason you are one of the two biggest clubs to have never played in the Premier League.

The question that should be asked is who can they get that is BETTER.

I as an outsider believe that if Pearson was given the Scott money he could have you in the top 8 (then luck plays a part in the rest), this league is honestly absolutely ******* dire and you don’t have to be THAT good to be top 6 imo.

  11. First 20 minutes I thought was nervy and I thought you could have capitalised, I then thought personally from that moment we bossed it, other than the corner and the odd long ball I didn’t feel you troubled us.

We kept making the wrong decisions on attack otherwise I feel it could have been more, was right behind what looked like a great save to tip Summervilles shot onto the woodwork.

My main concern is Ipswich, even though we beat them away we’ve given them a huge head start.

Not sure what City were trying to do today, that confused me, Archie Gray playing at RB was great for us, not his position and was unbelievable.

The only time I've been before was the time we drew so, on Saturday, I'm bringing my unbeaten record. I'm confident the Leeds team will sense there is someone there who has never seen them beat Bristol City at Elland Road and crack under the pressure...

I’ve taken my best mate up at least 5 times (a City fan), the 2-2 draw he was stunned by 😂

The drive home is always peaceful.

Fortunately it's not as bad as first viewed

We've only played there 9 times since, but our record in those games is won 0, drawn 1, lost 8

If we play like the arrogant t**ts that went down to Southampton or the directionless team last night and you could very well put one in the win column.

Morning @YorkshireSectionand @SPAZZAdo either of you know if the dragon pub is a home fan pub only? Coming in on bus and stops right outside, time limited on Saturday so won’t have time to go into city centre and back out for the game. Otherwise Howard’s it is

Honestly no idea, I’m just a habitual creature.

Peacock pub and then game! Then the 4 hour slog home 😩

So Leeds have tickets on sale for Ipswich (a) and are being charged £34 with Leeds stating; Unfortunately no agreement could be reached for a reciprocal pricing deal for this fixture.

    £34.00- Adults

    £27.00- Seniors aged 65+

    £20.00- Under 23s

    £12.00- Under 19s

I assume they will charge the £47 for Ipswich fans visiting ER

Yep I guess so (which is disgusting).

Home fans in that part of the ground will be paying the stupid price too.

I don’t think away fans can moan at our prices when it has been shown the club are more than open to reciprocal pricing.

Whilst I again reiterate its disgusting on our part, it also shows which clubs care about the prices their away fans pay, now if they don’t agree a reciprocal price then it shows they want the extra Leeds away fan income in their coffers over their own fans saving some money.

Leeds United will offer reciprocal deals to other Championship clubs, meaning away fans could see significant reductions in ticket prices – so long as their own club comes to an agreement.

The club originally said that away fans in the West Stand would be charged a whopping £45 for Category B games and £47 for Category A.

However, it has been announced today that a reciprocal agreement has been reached with Cardiff City who visit Elland Road for their season opener. Adult tickets will be priced at £21, concessions at £16 and juniors between £9-11.

This means visiting Bluebirds fans save £26 on the Category A fixture while Leeds United’s travelling supporters will be offered £21 tickets for the return game in January 2024.

It’s welcome news for Cardiff City fans and, potentially, very good news for any other supporters visiting Elland Road – so long as their own club does the right thing and agrees a fairly priced reciprocal deal with Leeds United.

If they don’t, and you end up paying £45 or £47 at Elland Road, there are two clubs at fault – Leeds United for setting such prices in the first place and your own club for not agreeing a cheaper deal with Leeds.

If they fail to agree a deal it’s fans who lose out as we pay higher prices while the money goes into club coffers. So we have to put pressure on clubs to do the right thing.

    What can supporters do?

The FSA fought a long campaign for a football-wide away ticket price cap which the Premier League eventually introduced at £30 in 2016. We have also raised the possibility of a price cap with the EFL who insist that it’s up to each club to determine their own pricing strategy

We’ll be encouraging all our supporters’ groups in the Championship to lobby their clubs to set up a deal with Leeds United – there’s nothing wrong with individual fans contacting their club to make this point either.

And if a reciprocal deal can be set up with Leeds United, then why not others?

Sheffield Wednesday are back in the second tier and have historically charged high away prices while Bristol City, Coventry City, Middlesbrough, QPR and Swansea City regularly broke the £30 barrier for away fans last season.

If these clubs all agree cheaper deals with Leeds United it will make a difference for tens of thousands of travelling supporters this season – and if they agree to cheaper deals with Leeds United then surely they could do it with other clubs too?

This was how the away cap in the Premier League developed as, following fan protests, the number of clubs offering reciprocal deals passed a tipping point and it made sense for the clubs to introduce a league wide cap rather than relying on a web of bespoke deals.

But that didn’t happen in isolation.

It happened because Premier League fans in particular at that time were very active in lobbying their clubs to implement fairly-priced reciprocal deals. That was backed up by FSA discussions with the authorities at a national level.

However, the protests in the EFL around away prices never quite hit those heights, as £30+ tickets were the exception rather than the norm, so clubs never felt quite as pressured by supporters to reduce prices.

But the latest price announcements can fuel new rounds of activity while, crucially, Leeds United’s offer is a clear opportunity for clubs to do the right thing by their own supporters.

Contact your club and help make it happen.

    What do Leeds supporters think?

We spoke to Leeds United Supporters’ Trust (LUST) who said they are delighted that the club will be offering reciprocal pricing deals for away supporters, and hope that other clubs in the division follow suit, using this as an opportunity to offer fair prices for all travelling fans.

“It is still concerning however that some of the prices for home supporters at Elland Road are unnecessarily high, and we urge the club to rethink their pricing structure,” said LUST.

“It should be noted that the prices set for younger fans are very reasonable and we applaud them for making it more accessible to watch Leeds United for families, however, charging almost £50 for an adult ticket in the second tier is not acceptable.”

    TAKEN FROM : https://thefsa.org.uk/news/leeds-united-offer-reciprocal-away-ticket-deals/

Blackburn usually give us 7k tickets, I’m sure they’d be delighted at 7k x their highest ticket price, I doubt all clubs will agree reciprocal pricing as they see our visit (not being big headed) as a good pay day.

£30 should be the max for a ticket home or away.
