  1. Did anyone listen to his pre match interview on RB too? I really just don’t like the bloke, he sounds like a slightly more intelligent version of LJ with the constant coach speak and waffle, it puts me to sleep every time I hear it.

The one thing I miss more than anything about Nigel and Curtis is that neither suffered fools or spoke any bullsh*t, which goes a long way with fans.

People saying Sunday could be hostile if we lose etc……it won’t though, a few boos and that’ll be it. Heard it was gonna be toxic when Pearson was unfairly sacked and majority of fans weren’t happy…..not a whimper from the Ashton Gate crowd….you wouldn’t even had known Pearson had been sacked

Family Club of the century Bristol City again. Even the gas are more partisan than us these days, pathetic

    Taking a positive viewpoint.

If, before Christmas, someone had said that we'd come away from away games at a very in form Watford and fighting for their lives Birmingham, with a 4-1 win and a dull 0-0 we'd have taken that..

It's that the results were the "wrong" way around that makes it seem frustrating.

Agree and disagree, I always find that outlook frustrating as once you’ve played one game (Watford) that’s done and dusted and you can only treat each match on its merits.

Defensively and through the phases we were brilliant tonight, it was just that final ball that eluded us. That being said Mehmeti should have pocketed at least a goal in the first half and that ball by Knight for Weimann was good enough to win any football match. Bit of a scuff actually from Andi.

  4. my little Scotty story…

The bloke has always done stuff off his own back. Many many years ago probably 2005 he hit the ball during the warm up at a pre season friendly @ clevedon town and it smacked my little brother straight in the mouth knocking him over.

hes come over and apologised which was enough in its self but then took my dads mobile number off him, next thing you know he’s pitched up at our house with a new city shirt for my brother and also Kevin amankwaahs match shirt from 03/4 signed by the entire squad.

how many professional footballers would do that at the height of their career?

  5. If the club have told Nige one thing then done another during the preparation for todays match then that just about sums up our top brass over the past few years.

Feel sorry for the bloke he’s always been that one bit of bad luck from having some great success here. What a rubbish week coupled with Tommy’s hammy. Still, I trust nige to only replace these players with players that deserve it rather than LJs transfer policy of old.

  6. Sit where you like lad, I went on coach 1 to Watford many years ago and told one of the regulars who was very rude in explaining the situation to eff off. Must have had at least 30 Pairs of eyes staring at the back of my head all the way home. Can’t remember if it was 1-1 or a 2-1 defeat. I know James was in goal and got lobbed my mark yeates that game come back off the bar and someone tucked a rebound in

This chap drove past me in Bristol today, and what with the blue and white livery on his van, I got to wondering which football team he supports.

I just hope, I really hope....well, you know.

Does anyone here happen to know 'Mr Gapper'?

Mate of mine spunked on a gas head named gapper once. Not the pictured fellow but one of his clan I believe.

    Why?

Seems to me he's had a charmed career.

Up until now perhaps, but they didn't have to resign just because the job looks tougher than they thought it might be.

Glad somebody else has highlighted this, 113 total senior career appearences? One of the strangest professional careers I have ever seen. Personally thought he came across as a bluffer on Robins TV too.

I assumed you listened to the podcast before you called it a 'load of shite'? What constructive criticism can you offer the OSIB team?

Again a matter of opinion but I do find the OSIB podcast a little boring. I think its more for the hosts to have a laugh and attempt some one liners with a little bit of football thrown in. I far prefer the chat on the FBC podcast.

My personal favourite was the block of toilets on the end of the Dolman towards the East End, on a cold winter night match you could see the piss steam billowing into the night sky haha
