  1. To me,it felt like Steve Cotterell was either leaned on,or felt obligated to give Louis that final appearance to take the record.Just my opinion but SC appeared angry/uncomfortable about handing the record to Louis.
  2. Always enjoyed Woodsy's contributions on here.Condolonces to family and friends.R.I.P fellow Red.
  3. Such a shame. The whole new range of splat Robin and blue training kit is dreadful. The fact it came right after some lovely Hummel stuff makes it look even worse. Hopefully yet another rethink coming soon.
  4. He got on pretty well. Got a bit lost on the way there but this was pre sat nav/Google Maps days, and you know what blokes are like for asking directions.Got on well with most of his team mates, but there is always one isn't there! He seemed happy with the house he moved into. It was in a relatively upmarket area with decent transport links, even though he had a nice car.Top of the range Granada I think it was. Can't remember the colour but every one I ever saw was a goldy/ bronze colour with a vinyl roof.Nice shops in walking distance and good schools for his thirty seven children. Apparently he was a big fan of the kit he had to wear too, especially the badge on the front.
  5. Don't know if they have been mentioned before but The Lathums.Lovely bit of jangly guitar which reminds me very much of Johnny Marr.Give em a go if you like a bit of indie.
  6. I do enjoy a good turnout.
  7. I thought that as soon as I finished writing it!
  8. Spanish seem to be extremely good at throwing themselves on the floor and rolling around. They should watch a bit of women's football. They might learn how to get up and get on with it!
  9. Old newspapers were indeed fantastic. Especially when they were used to wrap up yer chips.
  10. Thanks for the reminder Bill.Completely forgot about Clive Green going to Maidstone.Heady days indeed.
  11. Took me about 15 seconds to find him.Can anyone beat that?
  12. I totally agree, but I would also imagine that if they look back at their annual sales, they should have a fairly good base of things fans want to buy.Use this as a start point, make small adjustments to test the water and see what sales.Dont make massive wholesale changes to what fans have historically always wanted to buy.
  13. Hopefully the shop will be bigger and carry more stock, but will it be stuff people want to buy?
  14. Surely most people buy kits, training wear to show they love and support of their club.I can't see the point in buying and wearing something that looks like it is from another club?Completely bizarre decision making from whoever sanctioned this.Have they ever met a football supporter or even been to a game?
  15. Man City?Coventry City?Absolutely ludicrous!
  16. If they they want to keep the ball in play more, maybe stop players acting like they have been shot and rolling around for half an hour every time another player goes within a country mile of them!* *Stats may have been exaggerated. I am sure Davefevs will have more accurate data.
  17. I did try it,l.followed the steps but it only showed Netflix app there and I don't use that anyway. Couldn't see a way of changing anything for websites.
  18. That is genius!Never knew you could do that.
  19. Thanks for the advice but the problem is on websites not apps.
  20. Just tried the desktop thing you suggested Norn and though it has made everything very small it does seem to have got around the problem.I will only have to use it a little bit of the time so that won't be a problem. Many Thanks to you and everyone else that responded.
