Again, thank you both for your kind words. The saddest part is that she went from a very poorly paid job to a job that really didn't pay that much more but was enough to satisfy the building society that agreed to give her the loan for a mortgage.
Thanks for both of your replies. I am indeed proud of her.I am not one for bigging up my family but she was very good at doing a tough job that I certainly couldn't of done.It was a job that gave her a lot of purpose and satisfaction too.A real shame and I am sure there are many other similar stories.
My daughter spent several years working in a home for adults with a variety of mental and physical health issues. These included people that couldn't even eat. They were fed through pegs in their stomach. Obviously the place was understaffed so she had to do cooking and cleaning on top of her duties. Days and night shifts. She loved it.When she wanted to buy a house with her boyfriend she couldn't get a mortgage on her earnings. She had to leave the care home and go selling home insurance over the phone as it paid more.Absolutely shocking.
I think NP was building a real togetherness with the majority of fans that we haven't seen very often. The nearest in recent times probably being Steve Cotterell and Gary Johnson.A real feeling of positivity around the club. That feeling of optimism and goodwill was undone in an instant with Nigel's dismissal.I don't think the club could possibly be more out of tune with the fans.
Love Fiesta and love Shane's voice, but I would love to get the instrumental version of this. Have never been able to find it.It was used on a kids TV programme years ago.Gilbert's Fridge if I recall correctly.
Going back a few years, all you had to do was steal a couple of sheep.Don't know if things have changed now. They let Big Tone in so can't be that fussy.
No offence intended Big Tone.
