  1. Reminds me of the time a couple of seasons ago, myself and a mate got the last train back from football to Weston after finishing in the 3 Lions Thought it was a good idea to go to a late closing bar in Weston, which led onto a lock in at a certain bar near the sea front, which led to a staff party in a club. Walking out in daylight realising I had less than an hour to get home and changed for the train to work wasn't fun Luckily having my own office meant I could close the door and doze through the day still off my trolley
  2. Apparently if you go into the Downloader app Enter www.firesticks.com/simple-downloads/ There are many different options of categories you can view By all accounts if you want new TV or Films you can get these through Tea TV If you are looking for that days games install sports fire, if you go to the schedule tab it brings up all the top games (inc Championship) here, I am told if you select a specific match you then get the option to watch either the home teams, away teams of EFL transmission of that fixture By all accounts it has many other sports on there too Like I say all the above is what I have been told and it is all FREE !!
  3. Very worthy cause, I am sure they will be thankful for your sharing it on here... Story Sunday 5th May, Zac and I will be challenging ourselves to a Half Marathon Dribble-A-Thon. Last year, my son Zac didn't leave my side for 7.5 hours during my 50,000 dance steps challenge so it was only fair that this year's challenge was more up his street. We have no idea how long it will take us to each dribble a ball for 13.1 miles, we are just taking on this challenge together in the hope of raising some money for The Grand Appeal Charity. So...I had better find some football boots...real soon! Why The Grand Appeal? Having volunteered for this charity for many years, you get to know the amazing staff, meet families and patients and you just want to help. Hearing some of the stories some children and families have to go through is truly heartbreaking and I just couldn't imagine being in their position. The very least I feel I can do is help in some small way and it is amazing that Zac is also now keen to continue his support through fundraising. If you are able to sponsor us anything at all to achieve our small target, we will be so grateful. Thank you so much - Em & Zac xx Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
  4. I'd assume that it is like ground regulations, in that if you are in the league you get more grace to get things right, but anyone new entering have to hit certain basic guidelines
  5. I wasn't surprised to see the two Manchester clubs vote this way, and in all honesty would have expected a few others to have voted that way As for Villa, that is an odd vote
  6. That clause is about to be ripped up and will enable him to work from next season
  7. Yes, but you won't need one if you have a smart TV PS You don't even need to pay for this anymore, there are enough ways (apparently) to get all this for free
  8. Thank you for the really unnecessary personal insult about a serious mental health condition I was diagnosed with As for the past 5 days, I've been sat by the bedside of my partner in hospital not sure if she was going to come out alive at one point
  9. I didn't tell you to shut up!! It's not a secret that the women's academy needed changing, which it has in the time SINCE Kirk left us. But you have gone from referring to investment in the womens first team to the academy team. It would help if you clarified which side you are commenting about. Look at the clubs latest accounts and you can see for yourself the increased investment in the women's team it's very easy to see. I'm sure there is an element of self funding in the women's academy younger levels, but I'd bet that's not unique to just them You'd probably do best to understand what a keyboard warrior is aswell
  10. What, the same Willie Kirk that left SIX YEARS AGO, stop living in the past Put up or shut up!!
  11. Assume you realise people with sky watch more than football? I thought I had de ja vu reading this thread too.. I'm sure it was posted last year too
  12. Can't believe anyone would pay for anything You can get sport, films etc without paying (apparently )
  13. I really like this I am critical of our media team but this is absolutely spot on
  14. I can vouch for this person and can confirm it is all as they say I know they have reached out to the SC&T and have also been in contact with the club, it is not for me to say anymore on this, but @Person X may be able to provide an update at a later stage I am sorry to keep quoting the meetings the SC&T are having with the club about improving the fan experience. I know sensory rooms have been mentioned recently, I hate to admit but I have no knowledge if they are what you are referring to, but discussions are taking place about them and they are very much on the radar of the club
  15. I thought you knew everything? They are making losses this season Fair point, I didn't take that into account I guess the way to justify it is the improvement in facilities. Compare the HPC to AG8 I am sure it is worth the increase Of course I don't. All those meetings with the SC&T and with Bristol City and Tom Rawcliffe clearly you know better than me No idea what you mean by "10 years plus"
  16. Actual amounts I have no idea of, but like all clubs the money comes out of the same budget as the men's teams Clearly we don't have an EPL budget so the pot we can use is that much smaller to start with, but if say every club spent 10% on their women's teams it is clear we can't compete with the other sides I believe in terms of what we can spend, we bought to our maximum spending, but it just goes to show how much the EPL dominates all things football in England
  17. I'd suggest that it's the funding required to stay at Ashton Gate
  18. Took some real guts to write this
  19. Are you seriously moaning about a £5 increase? Perhaps you would be better to understand how much the club loses by playing at Ashton Gate
  20. Great to hear that the ladies will be back playing at Ashton Gate next season
  21. phantom

    King

    That list is growing
  22. I'm sure every game I've seen Yanez play this season she's gone down injured with a glute injury That friggin band are back in the ground again, fortunately the sky mics do not pick them up as much
  23. I'm not sure this current squad are good enough to challenge in the Championship
