Middlesex now wanting to speak to the ECB over their 2 point deduction for their slow over rate in the game that got cancelled by the crossbow incident. Would be even more bs for that to be retracted in hindsight given Somerset could argue they'd have played differently in every game since.
They will not have to go far for the meeting, as ECB is situated at Lords.
This looks like a carve up.

If you compare this seasons results with last seasons results, we are now doing worse than last season. We have 8 more home points and 9 less away points.
The last five games we accumulated 4 points, the comparable games this season we have gained none.
With our stronger squad, I cannot believe this.

So by taking a draw out of the equation, Yorkshire and Middlesex showed a massive disrespect to the game of Cricket, and to Somerset.
Two Yorkshire batsmen had bowling figures combined of 11 overs for 120 runs.
I am a little confused, if this is not a rigged cricket match what does one actually look like, as it seems OK to plan and arrange a 240 from 40 overs target in advance.
The next Spirit of Cricket Lecture at Lords should be cancelled.

Someone is definitely missing as they do not add up to 100%.

Mr Higgs stated
I have been told Rovers have a excellent case to get Wycombe punished after Rovers were relegated out of the league. Wrong
Rovers have a watertight contract with Sainsburys. Wrong
Today, I have been told Rovers have excellent grounds for an appeal.
I presume he will rack up more legal fees on the basis of third time lucky.

Good result, and today we matched our points total for the whole of last season.

It is wrong that a match is rearranged with such little notice, but the Football League, must take a large share of the blame for this.
City were obviously prepared to play Saturday and Monday, as long as Stevenage (Mondays opponent) were doing the same. Once this was not the case, as Sheffield United v Stevenage was moved to Good Friday, City percieved they would be at a disadvantage on Easter Monday, so moved our fixture.
So why have the Football League allowed Sheffield United's match to switch date, outside of its required timescales and why were other clubs not officially advised until this week. as Mr Ed pointed out checking the FL website was pointless as even now it still states that this match takes place next Saturday.
Perhaps, next season there will be a touch of common sense and all fixtures will be scheduled for Good Friday.

There is also the possibility that with Middlesex bowling loads of overs to make up their over rate, Surrey may have won the match, as I think they only needed about 170.
