  1. If he had made the same application with his football career with as much enthusiasm as he did his ridiculous hair dos then he would have been some player. However, he didn't and to be totally honest, I thought he had retired already!
  2. I see you are in Teignmouth and our train stops there on Saturday which is the one that gets in to BTM at about 10:15. You are welcome to a can of Natch if you are on the same train.
  3. Cheers Gav. The crate is just for me and one other. The rest of them can get their own
  4. First and foremost Manning doesn't seem to be able to adapt. If Plan A goes well, we look decent if we get sussed out which seems to be happening more often than not then Manning looks like a rabbit in the headlights. I think we will be ok in that we won't get relegated but that is hardly an aspiration is it? I keep hearing and reading that once the summer has come and gone we will be looking better and to be within a top 6 finish. I just can't see it myself. I'm one of 8 of us coming up from Devon on the train for the Cardiff game and booked it all a few weeks ago. Got a crate of Natch and will be on the first can by the time the train leaves at 8:28am. Most of us a travelling in hope rather than expectation. I've been having nightmares about Fam scoring the winner and tapping his head in front of the South Stand. COYR
  5. Didn't we draw v Fulham in last game before COVID? The kit that was made out of several old kits or did I imagine it? In any case, it was a very tin pot thing to do on Saturday.
  6. He's got all week this week so no excuses after the next game.
  7. I was somewhat surprised that the Lineo (i.e. because he was inept) saw Smallbone get a touch on the ball putting it through to Mehmeti for our first goal. Admittedly the Lineo was very close but sometimes being so close to it that could have been missed. I was waiting for the offside flag.
  8. Been planning this trip for ages to tie in with a family birthday. 7 of us coming up from Devon on the Train. We were expecting an early kick off request and so left it as late as we could also bearing in mind possible / probable Train Strikes. The A&S Rozzers decide to make the request less than 3 weeks before the match day. Do they actually give any thought to anything? Please, please tell me there aren't any ridiculous Marches in the City Centre that they are trying to avoid. I will proper lose my sh!t if it has anything to do with this. Had to change all of the tickets and of course there was a fee to do so on each ticket.
  9. The game I reference in 1979, I think he left WBA to go to Real Madrid that summer.
  10. I had to check this because I had only just turned 10 years old. The official attendance was: 29,914. The date was 17/4/79. Kevin Mabbutt scored: City 1 WBA 0
  11. I remember beating West Brom 1:0 when they were one of the favourites to win the old First Division. We were really struggling. Shock. They had Cunnigham, Regis and Batson (known as the 3 Degrees at that time) I can't remember the exact season. I was in the open end with my old man. I think the attendance was about 37,000. Absolutely bonkers.
  12. C'mon leave it out. Starting to sound like Rovers fans now.
  13. Neil Warnock (insert name of choice) is a horses ass, he's the meanest he sucks a horse's penis, Neil Warnock is a horses ass. He looks like a horses ass, he smell like a horse as ass. Neil Warnock is a horses ass.
  14. Blige. Someone is a tired little Pixie. Bless.
  15. Happy days they were. I've still got a photo taken there of 3 generations of my family on a shelf in my office. Only 2 of us still alive FFS. Bloody young uns of today don't know they born. Shows how old I am. I keep repeating myself!
