Louis talks to much.
He's earned the right. Legend.

He's reminded me of Sproule today and I feel that's doing poor Ivan a disservice!
Awkward!

Movement is definitely a problem but you don't tend to get much when you slow down play to whack a 50 yard ball every time you get possession - we seemed to be set up for a hopeful long ball. I disagree with your count, it was many more than that.
Agreed on everything you've said apart from about Marlon to be fair.

The game was far to close and everyone was working hard. Didn't need a passenger out there tonight.
Well, not to slate Wilbrahimavic off, but he was poor second half and couldn't control anything.
The game was crying out for a moment of creativity and we have the most creative player in the division on our bench.
But, and I can't stress this enough. It's a good point in the long run I reckon. Just could have been 3

Do you not agree with that?
Pack was terrible tonight. Usually the best passer at the club but was useless this evening. Put us in danger on a number of occasions with poor balls.
Did you notice how many options he had at any one point? He over hit 4 passes maximum out of I would guess to be well over 50.
The problem is the movement and it always has been

Pack was awful, overhit every pass more than 10 yards in length. He could have come off for Freeman at half time or on 60 minutes and one of Elliott or Smith took the "sit in front of the three man defence and watch the ball sail over your head" role.
And there it is. Jeez.

Think we're still short up front, the midfield and defence seems to be taking shape nicely. We're missing natural pace up top though imo
I dunno, I felt we lost the midfield battle because we bypassed it all too often. Three quality passers in there today and they spent too long craning their necks.
As I said at half time, we were playing 4-0-6 at times and it was very, very simplistic stuff.
I actually like Cotts. He's a very good fit for City. But he got most things wrong today.
Still there are a number of positives to take from it and we'd be foolish not to focus on those.

*You're
So you think SC made his substitutions at the correct points in the match then? We had a bench that could do some real damage, and it was obvious at half time that we needed some fresh ideas.
It's a decent point, but I think we could have taken all 3 had SC been a bit smarter with his changes.
Nailed it.

I'm just waiting for the impending "pack was crap" thread, despite the fact he was the only player in red to move and want the ball for every second he was on the pitch.
His vision is also sublime, often the execution is lacking, but the passes he sees are awesome.
-
Haven't said this yet, but Cotts got a lot wrong today, particularly the substitutions.
Still, would have taken a point before the game... Just disappointed as Orient were quite poor.

So static in midfield. Basically playing a 4-0-6 formation and thumping it for the second half of the first half... Keep the ball, pass and move. Triangles. It's hardly ******* rocket science.
