Stop filling this forum with speculation as if it's fact. So annoying.

Are you really a cartographer? Excellent trade I would say and I am sure we are a better club with a cartographer in the support.
Thank you! :-)
Yep within civil engineering. Mon-Fri Railways & Roads, Sat Coopers & Atyeo
Think I started dreaming about the play-offs today...

Blimey 2 on one thread and when i were a lad it were top of my career desires; i then found out the salary scale and decided the Ordnance Survey was not for me.
It seems to work in reverse this close to the equator; the Philippines are small and perhaps that is why the place feels and is hugely over-crowded.
I think the justification is the loss of Tomlin; perhaps Brownhill will be more creative than O'Neill. I applaud Lee's boldness. GON can always come on if it needs greater solidity.
Oh god I wouldn't go near the OS Hav! I work in civil engineering.
Maps rule.

Here's something else that bugs...Quote...
Why every world map you're looking at is WRONG: Africa, China and India are distorted despite access to accurate satellite data
- The distortion is the result of the Mercator map which was created in 1596 to help sailors navigate the world
- It gives the right shapes of countries but at the cost of distorting sizes in favour of the wealthy lands to the north
- For instance, north America looks larger, or at least as big, as Africa, and Greenland also looks of comparable size
- In reality, you can fit north America into Africa and still have space for India, Argentina, Tunisia and some left over
- Map suggests Scandinavian countries are larger than India, whereas in reality India is three times the size
- The biggest challenge for cartographers is that it is impossible to portray reality of spherical world on a flat map
Take a look at a map today, and you’re likely to see that North America is larger than Africa, Alaska is larger than Mexico and China is smaller than Greenland.
But in reality China is four times bigger than Greenland, Africa is three times bigger than North America and Mexico is larger than Alaska.
The distortion is the result of the Mercator projection, the map most commonly seen hanging in classrooms and in text books, which was created in 1596 to help sailors navigate the world.
Well I say! I'm a cartographer by trade, never thought I'd see the day the Mercator projection is explained on a match day thread.
Also annoys me when people say 'upside down' maps or those with Asia in the middle are wrong! Bloody elitists
Anyway back to reality, u redzzzzzzzzzzz 1-0

Bloke on final score at the game claiming it was Magnussons mistake leading to the goal? Do they do any bloody research.....

Brilliant. Have only read a few posts before the game as I was at the game myself but we so deserved that win. Why? Because our fans were bloody brialliant from start to finish despite a poor first half. Fulham deserved absolutely nothing with support like that, we moan about the atmosphere at AG but my god it's so much better than the 4-5 grounds I've been to this season. The criticism keeps us on our feet but still feel like we're so much better than the majority of teams. Such a good away day. Temperance was also brill before the game. Atmosphere is everything.

Sorry to hear about that bloody Megabus that got double booked this morning, apparently some City fans had to find other means of transport.

Power cut at Griffin Park? Didn't that affect one of our games against them recently? Or was it Leyton Orient?

I was thinking about this the other day ... seeing how it's now going, does he regret anything?
Probably but we all know he'd never admit to it.

Sorry to reopen the topic but it really baffles me how Cotterill messed this up, a simple change in formation and the results arrive. Don't think the resurgence is just down to new manager syndrome either. Grateful to Cotts but my god how can someone be so stubborn?

Knew JK was out of form but didn't realise it was 10 games without a goal!? Bit concerned.

45 minutes is the usual time it takes to get to the M23 turn off from the M4.
Exactly, despite living in London I forget how big the M25 is..
Apologies for the tangent everyone
How are we doing?

1600 Plymouth fans at Crawley. Impressive for League 2.
Agreed, takes a surprisingly long time to get there despite being just outside of Greater London
