  1. Or the 2017 Robert Redford and Jane Fonda film, Our Souls At Night..
  2. And in today's edition of Sesame Street, the number is 469, and the letter is Y.
  3. Sykes didn't just have an epiphany, he had breakfast at epiphanies!
  4. The away support sounded fantastic M. Have a safe trip home.
  5. Nothing like Kent, who went missing so often we had to organise a search party most weeks. By comparison, Mehmeti is fearless. Always prepared to take on his man.
  6. 469, its City's time Dasilva beat Hume running down the line The line broke, the Hume got choked And Wells sent us to heaven with a penalty stroke Clap, clap Clap, clap, Clap, clap Clap
  7. 469 days later YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
  8. Sunderland came into their own at the end of the half with Diallo and Clarke looking dangerous. City have been steady, with that standout move on 19, with Bell to Sykes who backheeled to Mehmeti, who's curling shot well saved by Paterson and the follow up corner blocked. Atkinson looks to have twisted his knee after shepherding the ball out for a throw under pressure from Diallo.
  9. Many thanks for your comments. Regarding Sunderland, I watched the highlights of their 3-0 victory at Loftus Road and they have real pace and good pressing. It'll be tough on Saturday.
  10. That is a surprise that would make Cilla blush.
  11. https://foreverbristolcity.podbean.com/ 4 points from two home games would have satisfied everyone but having done the difficult bit against the Canaries at the weekend many expected victory against lowly Wigan but it wasn't to be. Ian, Mark & DaveP review the game and look forward to Saturday's testing fixture at Sunderland. Hear DaveP speak on What the Falk, a Sunderland podcast, with his thoughts on the upcoming game
  12. Talking of wrestling at corners, I watched Watford's Wesley Hoedt takedown Ashley Barnes on Monday. No penalty given.
  13. Well said HH! Ian's my friend too. He can be forthright, but is an excellent fan pundit who has taught me a lot over the years. At the end of the day, we all air our different opinions, but one thing unites us, our love and passion for Bristol City FC. Bless you all.
  14. NORWICH [H] - the verdict: How long can we keep this run going? | Forever Bristol City Podcast (podbean.com) What was not to like about City impressive win against the Canaries which extended the unbeaten run to 9 games? If you're an optimist you'll be looking up the table and questioning whether the play offs are in reach. The simple fact is we need 10 wins from 16 which is as many as we've achieved in 30 - a big ask? The back 4 were the difference in City's favour as they put their bodies on the line with tackles and blocks to the extent that Max O'Leary was rarely called into action. Sykes maintained his good scoring run and their was also a chance to see Mehmeti and Cornick the latter squandering a late opportunity to make the game safe. DaveP hosts a discussion with father & son duo Neil & Tom plus Mark & Ian . There's even time to talk about the music of Burt Bacharach whose innings came to a close this week.
  15. Fair point Dave. That's what I meant to say. But then again, some of my points are like Eric Morecambe's rendition of Grieg's Piano Concerto, I play all of the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
  16. I think you're right. It would be good to see the clip from the live feed that clearly shows the stamp.
