Not seeing tonight's game on Paramount+ with Aus VPN.

I must be watching a completely different season……the bloke will end up playing for a team better than us within a couple of years.
exactly this. he is a good player, just being played in the wrong position at the moment because of injuries to Twine and Sykes. imo he works as one of a deeper two, could be with Williams, James or TGH (but the latter would be a very young CM pairing). He needs a creative player (i.e. Twine) infront of him as that isn't his role. Will be interesting to see how we'd line up if the full squad was fit, would struggle to see Mehmeti getting a sniff personally.

Can confirm it's available on Paramount + with NordVPN set to Australia. FWIW you can get a free trial of both services and watch the game. Just remember to cancel

Dickie, Gardner-Hickman, James, Knight all good. Just same old in the final third
Gardner-Hickman growing nicely into the CM role for me. I've never liked flair players too much, but Mehmeti is next level frustrating. Ducks out of every challenge and seems to very very rarely take someone on successfully. Maybe I'm a cynic

And here’s exhibit 7,583 of the fact that nobody asked for or wants a separate ex players forum so threads are naturally started and engaged with in the main forum….

I'm often a fan who pays little mind to City players who have moved on. But this season I've been keeping tabs on Scott (as I expect most have) but also to a lesser extent, Massengo, DaSilva + Palmer
Scott starting vs. Man City today. He showed glimpses of real quality against Burnley and appears to be playing a more traditional CM role. Thought he looked very cautious and a little passive in his debut vs. Wolves but I'm excited to see how he fares today. We really do miss him.
I'll be interested to see if Massengo gets any minutes for Burnley today, unless I'm mistaken it's his first appearance on the bench for them this season (did play in the cup a month or two ago however). I liked Han but was/am frustrated at the manner of his leaving. We saw brilliance from him on a few occasions but not enough. He will press on to be a good player I have no doubt
Palmer proven what we all already knew - he's not as good as he thinks he is, and is a bit of a bellend. Jay seems to be doing ok at Coventry. Always liked him so happy for him

Significantly stronger lineup today vs. against Cardiff. Makes it even harder on Pearson considering Vyner, James, Conway all fit enough to start today
-
Reid on too, AV it son

City are gonna kill me

Fulham, Blackburn, Bolton, Charlton and MK all losing
Makes it a much more needed win tonight. We climb to 20th (I think) with a win and all else stays the same.

Whose radar? Maybe the layman's but I don't think he'll slip under the radar of those clubs or scouts who know what they're looking for. people in the game will be more than aware of him.
Probably true, not heard of any interest in him though. One of our better signings by miles.
Hopefully he doesn't go, would be a lot of quality gone there

Not the best half. Final ball lacking at the moment but pretty untroubled at the back so far.
Luke Ayling and Korey Smith are different class to anyone else.
Mark Little looks like he's carrying a bit too much turkey.
A oretty even half, hopefully will liven up second half.
Korey Smith is our best, most consistent player by a streak, why he hasn't been snapped up yet is beyond me.
Luckily he's the type of player that slips under the radar.

HT, yet no shots.
Blow me away and bring a HT sub on, or is it going to take an injured keeper for that?

Still don't understand why Wilbs is a consistent starter for us.
IMO Burns is a much better choice, fair play to Wilbs, he had a decent season last year but he just doesn't change the game (like Burns did against WBA - instant impact, hungry for the ball etc).
Im not manager but I would have made atleast a few changes today, probably Burns and Reid in at the very least. Will be so annoyed if we do t take 3 points tonight, especially after how well we played on Saturday

Yup, just wasn't sure if that was the case for overseas too.
