Bloody lucky to win it though, was absolutely shocked. Additionally, although they did win, most of the squad are on their last legs, at least at the most elite level. I’d argue only a handful of current players can continue for the mid, even short term future, let alone long.

If Partey is sliding there and the same thing happens, he doesn’t get the ball and De Bruyne kicks Parteys thigh/leg, it’s 100% a penalty given. I think the only reason it isn’t is because Partey was ‘shielding’ the ball, ie De Bruyne would no longer be classed as being in control, but he was, and he could’ve got a shot off too. Penalty every time for me.

Reynolds is a hyper successful person, business, marketing, acting, etc etc. Some people are just highly highly successful and nail everything they do, he’s one of those people.
