 Indeed it does - I will try and improve the graphics and repost over the weekend when I have some time

I am thinking now of some other infographics and charts I could make once in a while - what i would need though is factual data sources to generate them. I guess there are a few books and stuff with some of this data - however I am hesitant to type something like "Bristol Rovers official History" into a browser for fear of getting profiled as a gashead by Google, Amazon etc and linked with titles like "Boob Cricket: Rules and Regualtions", "The Dummies guide to being a racist"  and "Horse punching for beginners"

On a serious note if anyone knows of any reliable away attendance datasets I could look at debunking the whole "travelling away in massive numbers, its what we do"  bullshit

can we have it as a pie chart, just so I can see the little slice they have.

there are some common sense posts there; "There are loads of situations right through the top 5 divisions where smaller clubs are above bigger clubs in the league pyramid. If that wasn't the case football would be crap.Personally I don't really care that much whether we are above them or below them in the league.
I don't see being a Gashead as a constant mission to be higher in the league than them, the way I see it is being a Gashead is great and I hear shitheads talking about their club ( mates included) and it sounds so plastic and shallow. We don't have to be higher above them in the league to be better than them.
    I've got peace of mind"
    .

and others, well; "Gashead good, shythead bad, league position a sideshow for me but would still love to be above them. Enjoyed the Conference as much as league football but looking forward to the Championship next year and the Premiership the year after. Can't wait to see Chelsea etc at the mem for a season before the UWE".

You see, that's the point I was trying to make. My best friend is a G*s season ticket holder and when they were relegated to non-league I never said a word to him as I knew he would be hurting. Since they have started to be successful (relatively, considering the leagues they have been competing in), he's been all over social media giving it large about their success and how shit we were for the first half of last season and how they're coming for us.

The thing is, I feel I should have patience and not bite (let alone point out the massive gap between us) but im getting to the end of my tether as I feel I did the right thing and put football rivalries to one side for the benefit of my mate, only to have it thrown back in my face once they started winning games.

Thus it always has been. And always will be. I suffered the same fate . I just choose to distance myself from it. Only care when we have to play them.

So as I see it, you're all in agreement:

Rovers are clueless, tinpot, the owner is an unprofessional buffoon stringing the fans along and hasn't got 2 brass farthings to rub together, there's never going to be a new stadium or training complex, the fans are all muppets, forever in your shadow, no longer rivals, you don't even care about them any more...

I think we get the point. It's preaching to the converted isn't it? I mean, you all think it, and you all know it to be true.  Yet you all still have to keep saying it over and over and reaffirming it to yourselves every day.

Why? Things are going well for City right now, Europa League on the near horizon according to your manager, if we're no longer rivals why not just take a chill pill and not get yourselves into such a lather every day? Why the obsession? Really, why? We are nothing to you.  Move on.

    Have a good weekend all!

And I'll see any Rovers fans that use the forum (both long standing and newbies? at the Mem tomorrow?

Take care everyone, enjoy the weekend :-)

And there is the difference, we want Europa league and why not, and all you want to be above us , no matter where we are in the league table.

Really could not care less about you unless we had to play you. All this is just a piss take. Long may it continue, And it will.

    A Doctor Writes …

The original NHS virus (nicholas higgs strain) discovered by researchers at Horfield Cottaging Hospital back in 2009 has been superseded by a dangerous new variant EJITS (everything jordanian is terrific strain).

With the NHS version  it took up to six years till victims were left feebly mumbling “he’s a Gashead but we’re screwed”  before finally succumbing. Yet, after a jestation period of only six months, those suffering with the EJITS version are already muttering “he’s a nice bloke but we’re screwed”.

Leading Gastrick specialist, Dr Harold Shipman, fears that, without a sizeable injection, vital organs such as the Supporters Club, Helpline Society and Santa’s Grotto will shut down within weeks. A stadium transplant is impossible and the proposed car park graft is now obsolete so the only remaining option is to follow The North Bristol Chair Pathway.  Speaking to a gathering of Gasheads last night Dr Shipman said  “Just keep quiet, swallow this, and everything will be all right in the mourning”.

If nothing else there is always euthanasia . Painless for all.

Their owner has retweeted something about them having more Facebook 'likes'. Imagine Lansdown doing that, it simply wouldn't happen. Different league of professionalism and class.

As @Tomarse alluded to, it's not inconceivable they purchased likes. I wonder if they have..

Of course you (or some Gashead) has not obsessively looked at a photo of your winning goal and found a red shirt to then obsess about some more. Or counted up the amount of pages on threads about your team. Or the average amount of posts by certain posters on OUR forum. No conflicts there with your argument about obsessing at all there eh?!

As for the photo.  Could be all sorts of reasons they were there to suffer your teams performance if indeed it is a city shirt. How are you to know?  For instance in May 2001 I was going out with a girl whose best mate was by happy coincidence a Wycombe fan and wanted to watch the game at your place and invited me along. Would've been rude to turn them down so I had a very legitimate reason to accompany them to the Memorial ground when they managed to relegate you to the Basement.  What an enjoyable evening that was, even if I did have  to pretend to support Wycombe for 90 minutes!  Perhaps our friend in the photo has a similar type story.......
