With regards to the safe guarding issue,
That's a sad state of affairs and if its a false accusation as it appears to be then the person doing the accusing needs to be sued and banned from ever setting foot in the methane again,
Those sort of false accusations have no place and just makes the police and authorities jobs much much harder,
And its the sort of thing those bottom dwellers would do
Being “banned from ever setting foot in the methane again” is more of a reward than a punishment.

The bloke announcing the 10 most shocking signings program after motd said "Bristol Rovers fan here I'm making no comment"

Easiest job in the league then, don't change anything and he'll soon realise his ambition and make 85% of Bristol happy at the same time!

Looks like Horfield prison - mind you, you wouldn’t want to be locked in either place!

If I remember rightly they used to stand on the hard shoulder of the M32 to avoid paying.

Twelve grand over fifteen months? £800 a month? I would suggest a nought missing as what sort of `workforce` would it be for that tiny amount?
It’s the cost of the first team squads wages!

Hmmm.
So Wael has taken the £11m Memorial Stadium and pissed away £8.7m of that on failed projects and chasing "the dream" of promotions.
They now have sweet f a of net assets, he has spent none of his own money, and is bailing to try to make some idiot pay something over £2m for assets worth less than £2m.

He has done this to them and still half of them think he's "a great bloke". Halfwits.
If only we paid £10 million for Taylor - everything would be rosy.

sorry if this is covered somewhere else on the site but I listened to the guy from UWE on radio Bristol who seemed to be committed to a scheme at the campus and he was very clear that a site with planning permission for a stadium was a very special commodity.
Is it possible they could find another partner? is forest green rovers not looking for a new stadium and as this site is in (greater) Gloucestershire would they be interested in taking up the offer as forest green can't have a great local support - as nobody lives in Nailsworth long term this might suit their ambitions
I think that truly would be the death knell of Bristol rovers.
I think SL will go into partnership with the UWE and develop it for Bristol's second biggest football team - Bristol City Women. Maybe he could also move the under 23 and 18 squads there as well.

I'm pretty sure it's defunct unless someone else picked up the baton. I actually know the woman who used to run that fanzine in person - she's a very pleasant person incidentally and always got on well with her despite the rivalry.
However, she got fed up with the endless shenanigans at Rovers behind the scenes and no longer goes to watch them. She now follows AFC Wimbledon instead I believe.

Bristol Derby, City victory.
Sounds great, it's been far too long.
I can picture this, thousands of Gas heads flocking to our new stadium drooling in envy, spending their hard earned benefits in our stadium which will result in even more money for us to spend recruiting young international players. We will play them off the park and send the gas back to chernobyl in tears. Happy days

Sure his brother said he was on the Blackthorn End singing goodnight Eileen but that may have been a combination of my old ears and the Mrs jibber away in the background so can't be sure

I remember leaving my car in the car park after a party in the supporters bar one Saturday night and when I came to pick it up the next morning it was surrounded by market stalls .
