Agreed quick and a great finisher at any time Talking of Greavsie , the one thing that would have changed his life is being sub in the World Cup final , may well have come on , but no subs allowed then BUT noticed on the film that five months earlier in domestic football subs were allowed , if only …

Sad news indeed , Beanie as well now from those days just like Ronnie as you say , they were great days for those that were around then , hairy days at times but great memories

It was mentioned on here yesterday that we have to go to Norwich a week Wednesday then Burnley on the Saturday which is pretty crap planning , not that anyone else cares I’m sure. With the two above added to the first four fixtures Hull, Wigan , Blackpool and Blackburn god knows the mileage but certainly not fan friendly , we then have 3 of the closest fixtures which large followings would be expected at all together in one go , Birmingham, West Brom and Reading in two weeks from October 8th , I know it’s done by a computer but again not great planning it seems

Honestly they were happy enough being fifth before kick off , no praise for a great performance from us , but what do you expect -
Pretty sobering, 7 games in , Sheffield United who are one season down top and then the three relegated teams already make up the top four ? Parachute payments are making football a joke
-
Yes maybe but as Nige said looking for one more at the back previously, I think if Bamba swapped for Klose we would still look to bring someone else in
-
It’s true , they are in the caravan next to us in Weymouth ?
-
Which is one of the problems of not being there , the tv does not pick up noise well especially in the new Ashton Gate , great atmosphere today There’s a lot of comments on here about crap atmosphere at the Gate but as someone who has been to plenty of grounds in recent times it’s pretty good these days most of the time Lot of people who whinge about it are often not there , but love to put it down
-
Absolutely , just got back , great day , excellent atmosphere, great performance, as to be honest was Luton , I can see big Nige is trying to build us in the image of his Leicester team that went in to win the Premier league, free flowing football not over the top to say you could see Vardy playing in this team style wise

The difference this guy makes has been phenomenal, mistake v Sunderland but outside of that has added what we desperately needed, calmness , class and organisation Positional play outstanding as well -
Fair points but albeit including the loans the Forest side that went up were nowhere near the Brentford and Swansea sides they you mention , Cooper did incredibly to get them up , we will see
-
Just watching the Forest game and thinking they have pulled off the perfect trick , somewhere get a very average bunch of players promoted and then buy a whole new team and could well stay up and push on Only 3 of the play off winners starting, and they have just signed Dennis and Kouyate as well , 14 so far , gambling I guess most of the Prem money but way to go ?
-
Max did get an extended run but for all his distribution qualities, he was not very good tbh , rooted to his line for many goals , big relief when Bentley came back

Not really true for the majority I believe , but the bed wetters on here are the worst I have ever come across , have a quick look most games read the same shit and call it a day , the amount some people post on here means they have not got much else I realise but everything is worst ever players , worst ever performances and worst ever manager , they need to get a life ffs -
Not really related but just noted that the promo bit on the website ,’Get your season tickets’ that has said for weeks over 13,000 season tickets have been sold now reads over 13,500 now sold on the bottom of the Weimann interview , ticking on I suppose ?

Indeed , not sure if good or bad but Hull have just signed an eighth player , mostly obscure names tbh , this one’s a striker from the Turkish league -
Has he actually signed for them yet ? Nothing in their website or twitter
-
You’re a happy soul aren’t you
-
Some talk on here Max would end up at Peterborough but they have signed two keepers in the last 24 hours so that won’t happen , so we will see
-
So we get rid of a top keeper and then sign a 20 year French guy with no real experience to go with our other keeper who frankly failed his audition last season , that’ll work
-
I’d like to think it’s nothing but once Rob Edwards went to Watford thought he could take Wilson with him , hope not but seems possible now
-
NP touched upon it I saw a stat that Luton had a massive amount of players out of contract this summer including most of their leading ‘stars’ . Don’t know if anyone has the list but if so this defeat could hurt even more Gutted for the lovely welsh fella

Their Facebook page says Mansfield had 689 fans at the theatre of dreams today, so Rovers had OVER 7000 of their own incredible supporters present
