Personally think that Semenyo isn't good enough for this level (basing on what I've seen of him). There is potential, but he needs a good, prolonged period of scoring at a lower level, and then slowly integrated into our first team squad providing he does well out on loan.
The last time he was in and around the side, it was on the back of his decent loan spell (amid Chelsea rumours) but to be fair he was basically being used as we had no other options, and failed to get a decent striker in during the previous window. It was a gamble that failed.
Hope I'm proved wrong, but I think he's more likely to end up in League 2, maybe a mid table League 1 side.
For my sins I watched the game (dodgy Firestick), mainly out of curiosity, Sunderland were woeful all over the pitch, Semenyo when he got involved was no worse than any of the rest of them, he seemed to play wide left of what became a front 3 at times. Everything went through that thug Lafferty who did his best to get sent off. Not sure he is gong to benefit hugely from the loan. Both teams we diving all over the place, the level of football quality was dreadful and you can see the huge gap between League and the Championship. The bias commentators (Radio Bristol) thought that Semenyo looked dangerous and had pace to burn, just didn't get involved often enough, mainly because of the woeful Sunderland midfield.

Apparently they have just dumped their Chairman, Hamer, maybe things are happening over there in Gas land.

Bury haven't played a game yet so the EFL will find it easier to let them go. Bolton seem to have people that want them but can't agree how to do it, I reckon they will get a stay just to save the EFL dealing with the issue of what to do with the games that have already been played.

You ain't kidding. Whisper quietly but sections of The Mirror share desk space and resource with The Daily Express....
Trinity Mirror, now Reach, acquired Express Newspapers recently so definitely sharing resources.
Only 3 regional newspaper players these days, Reach; Johnston Press and Gannett, first two heavily debt burden and open to offers for a fire sale, Gannett financially solid but owned by US group who are struggling, next couple of years will see huge changes and the demise of many local titles.

That's going to be one massive stadium. Plenty of room to park the ice cream vans and close enough for the warehousemen of Avonmouth/Severnside to walk to.
You makes I laugh.

As it's in the Mirror they will probably HAVE to print something as I believe the Mirror owns the EP .
Correct, owned by Trinity Mirror Group.

They'll be off in their whored's to Wolves on cheap tickets, short journey, glory hunters, away to Bradford for a match that really matters and the blue few live up to their name, pathetic.

I work with a Pompey season ticket holder, he says that Dopey is on the short list for the manager's job once Paul Cook has confirmed he is off to Wigan. Cook's assistant is Mikey Harris who apprently was Dopey's number 2 at Salisbury?

You're right and our head coach agrees with you, I saw that from the stands
His radio interview didn't mention it, just that you had apparently gifted us 3 goals because you had lost you CB at half time. He forgot to mention you scored your first while we had a man down and our players had stopped and your second came from a woeful pass by our CB, I think the truth is that we gifted you 2 goals while we fought hard to score 3 good goals. He has as much class as the other 11 on the pitch.

Definitely happened hopefully it's been captured on camera, our players run to Hecky as always then sort of stopped still as he must of said something to them, then walked away, my mate saw same as me and said we might let them walk one in here but obviously we didn't
I think your lot let themselves down today. Ball should have gone out. Having a crap ref is no excuse. I hope we can return the compliment one day.
