Sorry,I still don't see it.Should we not have an interest in world news.Anyway as I said probably best in the non football section.

Certainly something 'different' to find interest in. Did you hear Russia bombed Aleppo? Knew it'd happen as I have a Russian colleague in work and he's a ****.
Yes,we do hear about Aleppo, had you heard about this before it was posted ? I hadn't.

Its not, just as we wouldnt expect them to associate us with the civil war/coup in the Ivory Coast simply because we had Kodjia.
Perhaps better placed in the non football section ? I found it interesting, not trying to score points.

someone shot on their way to a court.... but hey if it's relevant - I guess we are a English club and English owner - every child rape, murder, con artist, death in England I'll be sure to post and tag your name to it so people know who it's for/who's interested in it, after all it's relevant right ?
No,because we hear about that via English media. We do not get to find out what is happening in other countries a lot of the time as English media is very insular. Thanks for the offer though.

What has this got to do with the Gas?

By their standards, thats actually reasonable! I expect their crowds to be up this season after 2 promotions and their "billionaire" but once they realise its another false dawn itll be back the usual 6000 odd.
Yes,they are very odd !

How do we find attendances anymore ? I may be being stupid but can never find them especially away attendances. A tent dweller on Facebook was claiming they took well over a thousand to Scunthorpe but couldn't find how many they actually did take .
518 according to the league one away support thread on 'onefootballforum'

There is only one James Dace in Bristol, age 21-25, lives in BS48.
Might not be him though!
Looks likely, says he was in the Friendship Inn, Nailsea - they will need to watch their flooring !

Fairplay to them then .. fact is this is Bristol and we have 2 teams .. we're all connected one way or another ..yes we haven't got our new ground yet .. yes we're one league down from you .. yes we're tinpot in yours eyes .. no we don't really care to be honest
Seems a bit strange to be posting on a City forum if you don't care.

Your circle of people must be on a different planet then .. ( that is even if they consider you at all ) how arrogant is that ?? .. blimey i know loads of reds and they don't think like you do
It'll do for the time being though won't it
So,you don't bother to answer the question then !
I have a wide circle of friends thanks, supporting a variety of clubs, none of whom rate yours.

What others is that then ?
Any fans of other clubs I have spoken to dismiss you as tinpot, that is if they even consider you at all !

In reply to the never ending deluge of " are we happy ? " etc etc ... Not with the new fixture list out putting the bigger games midweek as yours have as well !! Yes we're happy with developments in ALL departments. . We're only a small club rebuilding so any improvements is a bonus to us .. Our new stadium will happen regardless of what non gas think or say .. Yes we will survive in L1 .. again we'll make gradual progress ..Yes we're happy with our new owners .. Any more questions or queries I'm sure you can debate amoungst yourselves and come to the conclusion that in your eyes we're a bunch of prats, but in our eyes we're a proud bunch of blue buggers ..
Happy Days .....
Gas logic strikes again !!
So,why on earth bother doing up your tip if you are getting a new stadium ?
It makes no sense, you are not going to get enough money from a bigger tent to make it worthwhile.
we don't need any debate to know you are a bunch of parts, and I think in your hearts you know it too.

It does make sense. A bank wanting to fund a project might need £50m. They might be getting say 7% return by investing that £50m in the stock market. They could borrow the money at 5% if the loan is mega-safe, such as a rich Jordanian banking family. So why would they spend £50m of their cash and lose the 7% interest when they could borrow it and only pay 5%? This of course does not apply to mere mortals like us who pay huge interest rates for loans, but that's why the rich always do well.
That makes some sense, the rich get richer etc .But 'shares can go down as well as up' if the Walleys were as clever as that, they would be as rich as some of your more deluded fans seem to think.Looks to me like a very high risk strategy, loan the money against their hotel, stock exchange drops and they loose the lot.I would be starting to worry about finances again if I were you.

Well that's a load of nonsense. Bankers look for outside investors because the return they get on their investments is higher than the interest they pay for loans for the investment, so long as that loan is secured on a safe source, ie the Al-Qadi family. In other words, it's cheaper for them to borrow the money than to use their own cash to fund the stadium.
Does that make any sense,if you borrow money you have to pay interest and pay the capital back, use your own money and you have no interest to pay ! Are you saying that they can make more by using their own money for other things ? If so what was the point of buying a run down club ?

Yeah it's rivalry but some of the posts on this thread are cringe worthy.
Some City fans (plenty on this thread) are genuinely trying to convince people that Rovers are just as worse off now then they were. Rubbish
OK, it's laughable that some think they are one of the richest clubs in the world, but they are clearly in a much better position financially then they were, and certainly much better financially now then a lot of teams in League 1 and League 2.
Watching some on here try to claw at anything to convince themselves this new owner is no good for the blue few, is at times....sad and pathetic.
Is it clear they are better off though ?
I have seen no real sign of that yet. They seem not to be able to afford a Stadium without other investment.
No proof that any debt has been written off.
Perhaps Wally was expecting millions from Sainsbury ?
What makes you think they are better off financially ?
