Spain were better but as soon as England came into it what a load of shit that second half was. At one point Spain had three players down on the pitch one dead one in shock and one writhing like a salmon out of water.

I have given watching Bristol City ladies a go. There was less than a 1000 there for a reason. How does mean they get equal pay???

When pressed England struggle. Australia really press.

Bristol Citys Robin lost its bridge, Ships go under bridges and the Robins outline is non binary. Cant be too careful about this.

Anyone going to say that second half was rubbish. Englands standard collapsed when nice Brazil stopped being nice to nice England giving them space to play nice football. As for the commentators nice and what language are they speaking? Transitional transitions???

None of this went on my postcard from the Vatican.
Went with a group from BS4. Half of us had tickets. Lively night before the game, met City lads before the game with Pompey and Chelsea. A lot hada no tickets.

Got the metro to some park near the stadium and it got very lively. Police went in with batons and lost control outside the stadium and England fans walked into the wrong end of the stadium no tickets no checks as the security had collapsed/abandoned what they were doing.

In the concourse the police pushed 1000+ into a part of the stadium that was empty to be met with missiles from the Italian fans. The police were itching to have a go and when England fans reacted to the missiles they charged into the top of the curva (end) and England fans went straight back at them. Anybody going down from the police batons was beaten on the ground which enraged the England fans more. One charge started when a City lad ran into the police dragged a Villa fan out who was on his back unconscious gettiinmg smashed by the police and the police swarmed all over him going for his head with batons as he fell and tried to carry aanthe unconscious bloke across the benches, England fans of course reacted by beating the police back. The City fan made the front pages of some papers.

That went on for ten to fifteen minutse till the police withdrew and the fighting stopped just like that no police no fighting.

Beanie was simply a great bloke. RIP.

Os page shows a u23 squad not updated since 2021. sure as well the OS pages will be changed in the next couple of years!!

Yesterdays u21 game was was U23 as it recorded as 3-2 on the u23 results and fixtures page? There are now fixtures for the U23's? but no ticket details kick off times and venue??

Anyone else on here go to the tournament and want to share their experience?

Cracking atmosphere in that Arthur Waite?? stand mind.

Stood just out of shot of that pic with my kids. end of an era for me and in particular because my family more or less has no interest in City at the new ashton gate.

Melksham set up at Oakfields is an eye opener for that level clubs serious about youth football but a bit out of the town though. Worth a visit. Frome is a lovely little ground and town to visit.
