Let the Pearson Obsession die if anything think he’s laid down the foundations as he did when he last left Leicester 🤷‍♂️

Twine was the big January signing he starts we beat Leicester 🤷‍♂️get off Pearsons parsnip and give Manning a chance

Emojis aren’t punctuation, nor are they a substitute.

  2. Is there a definition of “fickle” that I’m unaware of? The fact that lots of people preferred NP means that they are the opposite of fickle.

One result doesn’t make a good manager. Yes, we beat 2 very good teams. We then lost to lots of mediocre teams. Does that make him a good manager? A good manager can beat good and bad teams, not just the good ones.

As the question was asked, I’m in the Nige camp. However, I know that he isn’t coming back and I wanted LM to do well. He’s in charge of my club after all. He hasn’t done anything to convince me, bar the occasional good result. I suspect that a lot of fans think the same.

If we go on a run, I’ll be pleased. It won’t stop me thinking that NP shouldn’t have been sacked though.

As football fans we are all skinhead, far right, racist, drunken hooligans intent on causing needless violence by default in the eyes of the Media.

Hmm. I don’t have as much hair as I used to, but I don’t quite fit the “skinhead” label. I like a few drinks though. That must make me a far right, drunken hooligan. Good to know!

That’s the trouble these days, you can’t just not like something because you don’t like it. Far too many people make a leap, “why don’t you like it “?  It must be because you’re racist, homophobic, anti this or anti that.

When the simple truth is, not everyone likes the same things.

Very true Glyn. I don’t like it that much, but for no particular reason. I don’t have a problem with the cross. I don’t understand the fuss.

If you don’t like it, you don’t have to buy it. You can then save the £130, or however much it is. It think the price is more offensive than the cross.

  5. Until recently, I lived in Canada. I was still a city fan. I never thought the club should give me special treatment because I’d chosen to live there.

If the club chose to reward me, would they have paid me to come to the games, because my travel costs were so high? Free merchandise?

I now live in south Glos. It takes me longer to get to AG and costs me more than those who live close to it. Should I get a subsidy for that?

Where would you draw the line?

London isn’t that far away. I have many city supporting friends who live further away than that.

  6. Too late for me. I’ve lost all enthusiasm and have already stopped going. I enjoy my new Saturdays and don’t have that dread anymore.

I struggle to remember exciting football at AG. I’m not sure there have been more than 5 matches this decade that I’ve been keen to go to. I admit that number may be generous.

"Three windows, three windows, three windows" anyone??

Well okay he isn't Lee Johnson but I've pretty much written off the season in a League sense. Mad I know but..

Hmm. I think he probably IS Lee Johnson. If not, it’s a really good impersonation.

  8. Cheers Nige. It was good to have someone at the club who knew what he was doing. We’re left with people who don’t know what they’re doing.

You were unfairly treated. Hopefully you can go somewhere where your abilities are appreciated. Please don’t think badly of the fanbase, most of us disagree with this decision.

best of luck for the future!

  9. Okay, I’ll be that guy.

Dariusz Dziekanowski. I know he had his issues. I know he was unreliable. I know he sowed disharmony in the dressing room. I know he “liked a drink”. I know he wasn’t even a bargain, nor did he play for us for that long.

But boy, did I enjoy watching him play. Very few players could match the excitement he generated.

Mostly though, I credit him with helping my recovery from a serious road accident. It was the Wolves match in 1992.

Yes, I know he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but he was our most important signing from my personal point of view.

Apparently derived his wealth from unusual means - he started out in business as a granny farmer, was infamous for 15 minutes and then appeared on Panorama.

Not sure if that means he can be sanctioned.

Yes, but he somehow got himself onboard starship enterprise allowance scheme, with a prince of wales award for supplying Valium and amphetamines.

That must be grounds for sanctions.
