Delighted for him (and us) that we are now playing to his strengths and in turn, he’s delivering what we all know he’s capable of. What struck me about his post-match interview last night was that he’s absolutely desperate to do well for the club that he loves and that he’s a very, very level-headed individual Well done TC ?

Didn’t Nige suggest that he was recovering well/ahead of time a few weeks ago? Antoine himself indicated similar at the open training session - I’d therefore be surprised if an op was needed. I can see this one progressing over the next two weeks - just hope City have replacement lined up ‘cos we will need to replace him if he goes…

You’d expect Nige to get a bit of the money (2-3m?) and that we’d have someone lined-up if he did go

Would make sense to rotate the starting 11…..our biggest challenge will be midfield if Williams doesn’t play consecutive games on the basis that MJ is still out and HNM must be a doubt, having missed out today May be a case of “needs must” on Tuesday for Williams

Why am I not surprised to see yet another “Pearson” thread tonight! ? I would have taken a point before todays game, enabling us to build on Wednesday nights result. Let’s not forget, Wigan made 11 changes on Tuesday and had an extra 24 hours to prepare for todays game in stifling conditions. Our “supporters” need to have a look at what he inherited and the restrictions he’s working under! Whilst I’m as frustrated as everyone else by our start, having led on all three games, we ain’t that far away from being an “OK” side this season and I for one, am happy that we maintain our Championship status. Get Semenyo and Kalas back (2 of our best players) and the DF Midfielder we need and we will be absolutely fine. Having said that, we need to get our home season off and running on Tuesday now. COYRs
