  1. Can’t be many left for General Sale tomorrow?
  2. How many tickets sold today, anyone know?
  3. Absolutely no way should we be looking to “cash in”; after all, the transfer fee would hardly be eye-watering either - £2m perhaps?
  4. @Davefevs- I think you may be right about Wells……City will be desperate to get rid of the reported £27kpw wages…..could be the same scenario with JD too?
  5. Interesting to hear Nige’s comments re Pring after the game - was due to start yesterday but Pring himself then said he wasn’t “ready”……not sure that will have gone down well with NP. CP did well when he came on. It does still beg the question re DaSilva though - as @Davefevs said yesterday; can only assume he’s making up the numbers before we look to move him on in Jan (if there are any takers)
  6. Absolutely pathetic! Looks like a 14 year old was arrested……unbelievable. Poor and frustrating as today was, there’s no need for that - club will get fined and there’s even less in the coffers for Nige to spend #clueless
  7. That team selection today, with Lansdown in attendance is in my view, a statement from Nige that the change required in our squad is significant (more than SL may realise) To play AB at LWB when we have JD and Pring on the bench says an awful lot
  8. Only if games go “behind closed doors” again (which looks highly likely at this stage)
  9. Looks like they are heading for a home sell-out against LJs Sunderland on Saturday…….pretty impressive but MA must be a tad nervous that if it goes wrong and they don’t win, what the reaction may be… Two weeks into his rigorous process of replacing Cook - only a month to go ??
  10. Whilst it would be nice to strengthen in Jan, I’d prefer that we kept our powder dry until the summer as, as everyone knows, you don’t get value for money in Jan. I think the only thing which would change that would be if we were in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle - at that point, SL would spend the money available. Right now, I’m confident that we have enough in the squad to get us by this season which for me, is good enough - everyone knows that this season was going to be tough, based on what NP inherited…..Nige can then move onto the next phase of his rebuild at the end of the season
  11. Love this interview - let’s get it done City……another 2-3 years will do nicely….
  12. Yep…..lining his own pockets again! Wonder how many of the players that were signed in the summer, won’t be wanted by the new manager? ?
  13. Perhaps Ashton’s “rigorous” process will take another six weeks; by which time, LJ may well be out of a job & looking to work for his mate again?!
  14. Be interesting to see what Ashton’s “extensive search” serves up this time……..nothing against Ipswich but I really hope he screws it up there ?…….he certainly seems to be doing a good job so far!
  15. Typical! Probably be no trains on the Sunday either!
  16. We may be “forced” to sell Scott if we need to raise funds to re-invest?
  17. The one thing that the Derby defence lacks is pace……a game made for Semenyo perhaps?
  18. With you @Davefevs - we need to be patient! ? Re. Jan transfer window, based of where we are from an FFP perspective, we’re going to have to be very creative me thinks - perhaps see the likes of NW and KP go (possibly only on loan) in order for us to replace with a couple of loans of own? Mindful though that Nige doesn’t like doing loans and so perhaps we will have a bit of scope for one or two permanent deals?
  19. I despair - we lose a game and all the negativity starts over again……anyone heard of “Rome wasn’t built in a day”? That’s where BCFC is right now. Unless we look like we are going down, SL will quite rightly stick with Nige……as others have said, we need to get rid of those who aren’t good enough/don’t want to be here, allowing Nige to bring in his own players before we truly judge him. Who would come to City and do any better? I for one, remain firmly behind the most experienced manager we’ve had in a long, long time COYRs
  20. 90+5 Salford only need one shot tonight and 9 men on the pitch ??
  21. Hilarious to see Benarous boot the Blackburn players boot 20 yards ?
  22. Strange decision from Kalas to go with his head when he could have just lamped it into the Lansdown Stand……ah well, must improved performance which is a positive. On to Wednesday ??
