I personally think we will follow the French (our stats/timelines etc are very similar) ; start getting back to normal in 4 weeks time (schools reopening etc), no bars, pubs or restaurants until July and then festivals etc from mid-July.... They clearly don’t want to lose the summer holiday period and so are planning to be pretty much back to normal in three months time.... As others have said, the big unknown is whether there will be a second wave.....

Unless the season is finished fully/properly, there will be legal battles all over the place! Hope that the authorities do the right thing and allow a resumption when it’s safe to do so, even if this means starting next season later...

Agreed - be interesting to see whether the Top 3 end up being promoted to Prem automatically - I don’t genuinely believe that this is the fairest thing to do but who knows what the EFL will decide?! ?

Surely they will just cancel the Arsenal game(s) for two weeks at this stage?? As/when the EFL do anything, I hope they go for suspension of games, rather than BCD’s

BBC suggesting that the ban on large gatherings isn’t likely to be implemented at this stage. Sky News however, are reporting that they think it will be. Who knows.......not sure that even Boris does at this stage! ?

Guess we will find out more tomorrow with Government due to meet again with subject of large sporting events on the agenda
