Many on otib appear to be unaware that the players themselves might have a choice in the matter. Once their heads have been turned then the choice could well be to sell them for what they can get rather then have players who are either losing interest or decide to wind down their contracts until they can go for free. I believe that after the two Manchester games in 17/18 season one or two might have thought other clubs would be screaming for their signatures in the January window. This obviously didn't happen but they seemed to lose motivation for the second half of the season.

A lot of ex sportsmen also. Geoffrey Boycott, Brian Moore, to name but two!

What's the forecast for Saturday afternoon, will it have blown over by then? (Hopefully not the stadium! )

How much wiser people appear to be when they no longer have responsibility for a job they are attempting to advise others about. Whether it business eg Simon Jordan or politics eg Jeremy Hunt, their egos tend to ignore what happened when they were in charge.

What happens if a player moves to another club as part of a deal, is there still a value put on the whole transaction or in a case of "you can have so and so in exchange plus x million" does this make the sell on clause meaningless?

There I was thinking that posters on otib were saying our players should become more "streetwise"! Ronaldo was shouting and waving his finger in the ref's face the other day after 6 manure players were waved offside after a free kick. It was a wonderful move by the defenders. Did he get a card or warning? ???

I don't think our players "cheat" any more than any other team's players but I've said before certain players get a reputation for "winning" penalties and it appears that alot of referees are programmed to award them the penalties. Are all Ronaldo's penalties honestly won ? I imagine that he wins 75 percent of his claims.

Any ideas why the bbc website doesn't give the same service to rugby games, ie match stats, live reporting etc? They just give the bare minimum, not even minutes played!

I'm always amazed how quickly some referees blow the whistle at a tackle, it's almost premeditated as there's no time given to release the ball!

Could this referee hold a training course for some of our championship referees - Andy Davies to name but one?

Has thre ref started randomly blowing his whistle? I can't see what the free kicks are for!

Ours used to be fine sleeping while the babysitter was there but as soon as we got home they could sense we were back and having had 5 hours sleep that was us done for another 3 hours!

Getting any sleep at night? ? I just meant that it was easier for the virgin signal to travel a short distance!
