How often are the same team of officials appear together at a match? The linesman are loath to get involved unless they can help it as possibly they might be the referee the next time.

The most scrutiny that the linesman gives to the game is checking the position of the ball for a corner!

They certainly never review the result!

I always wonder at what age the course " diving for future footballers" comes in ? I imagine that sometimes that the referees must go out and think "**** it, I'm not giving any of them today" or quite obviously the reverse! (Depending on the teams involved!)

It's noticeable that American sport comes over here virtually unaltered in its format whereas to sell cricket to America its format has to be changed to the point of damaging the origins of the game! I assume that millions have been thrown at the kind of marketing people who have neither watched nor played cricket!

Is it me or is there a lack of discipline in alot clubs with the positive covid tests? I know the infection rate is high but if your job requires you to stay fit then it does seem extraodinary that so many players are getting it. Do the clubs have to declare to the league in question which players are infected? Listening to Nige during the week I doubt if any of his players would dare to catch it!

Could well be main event on sky if all the others get called off! I noticed that Rafa was moaning this morning about Everton still having to play Burnley and..... surprise, surprise the match is called off!

It's predictable that if they're anywhere near relegation at the end of the season all you'll hear is that Leeds are too big to go down. They're not saying that about Norwich or Burnley.

Watching Leeds v Arsenal. Interesting to see that Leeds aren't being treated as a big team any more. All decisions going Arsenal's way.
