Scott Twine - Loan Confirmed - No option to buy
Ska Junkie replied to Shauntaylor85's topic in Football Chat
Not particularly, just sick of reading their petty shite on a thread supposedly about a new player. Love and kisses Karen ( the most non PC bedwetter ever). -

Mods can we have a separate forum for arguments please? It's making reading this thread so bloody tiresome. If people want to point score, take it somewhere else please. Thank you. -

Hmm, we did bid over £2M for Azaz to be fair. That's why I wonder if we are gonna spend relatively big on a striker. Pure guesswork btw. -

'Loan with a view to signing' and 'Loan with an agreed fee' a la TGH are very different deals, and we don't know if this isn't the former. All we do know is there's no agreed fee. I would hope / imagine we would be talking figures with Burnley if we wanted to progress this to a permanent transfer in the summer. -

Just guessing but could we be using available funds for our elusive striker and have talks with Burnley re signing Twine at a later date? Pure guesswork as I said, just trying to work this out to City's benefit long term rather than short term. -

and paying for the privilege no doubt. Good player, no doubt, but without an option to buy, we're paying Burnley to keep a player fit for them. I don't see the point at all without an option. -
If this is true, good luck to Andi and thanks for the memories over the last 5 years. I will never forget his goals at Bramall lane, we got absolutely battered and somehow still won, sheer quality. Great player and a lovely man.

I've a feeling Ross McC might be in the frame, 'natural leader' and 'vocal' wasn't it on the report earlier this week? Wasn't he captain at Aberdeen? Knighty will be good too.

When would they ever need that ffs? It won't be anywhere near 24k, more like 16 I would guess.

All down to our 'thugs' and 'dirty tactics' according to their supporters.

I like what I see. Any player that likes a tackle is fine by me. West ham won't like it though, pussies!

To be fair to the scummers, years ago, we had a similar problem when we played, ironically, the scummers, at the Gate. Season ticket holders couldn't get in, ground full etc. That said it was probably 30 years ago and it shouldn't happen in this day and age.

West Ham Replay: Sold Out 🎟️/Live on BBC 📺
Ska Junkie replied to Silvio Dante's topic in Football Chat
Shouldn't laugh but that was funny! -
We didn't have a 'problem' per se Miah, it was just that we have more SC holders than tickets available so some SC holders didn't get a ticket and had a bit of a whinge. AFAIK, it never even got past SC holders, let alone members and general sale. There were some concerns re distribution as well, kind of goes with an electronic ticketing system I guess. I'm sorry you didn't get a ticket for the replay.

No idea pal. Says he's on £5k a week. I find that hard to believe. -
It's actually the Hitler youth badge, known nowadays as das rovers supporten.

There's one thing the methane dwellers are missing. Our 9,000+ didn't even make members sale let alone general sale, they ALL went to season card holders. Gawd only knows how many we could have taken.

61000 according to wiki, assuming the Anfield Road end is fully open.

As usual, we had more. 8,000 'which sounded like 80,000'. Reporter's words, not mine. I was so pissed at Anfield I can barely remember it! https://www.lfchistory.net/SeasonArchive/Game/1942
