Nice festive trip to Plough Lane today - Ryley a standout, cultured on the ball, good in the air and seems to have baulked up. A must for us next season - hopefully not L1.
Let’s hope for an exciting future with all our young talent even if it seems a way off after today’s stale turkey.
keep the faith!

If we have another tailspin season end then I reckon Nige will be struggling. His record is terrible and he seems so to lack the three key qualities of a football manager: motivation/man management, tactics and recruitment.
It’s only City’s perilous finances and SL’s reluctance to sack someone on a 3yr deal which will save him.
Massively overrated on here . Next year will be a struggle unless SL makes some hard decisions over the summer.
I’d vote for a new hungry lower league manager with modern ideas

Sounds like Robins wants the job after Nige!

Pearson sounded well mad. Interesting bit about a culture of too many wasters here for years. I would never be surprised if he quits at the end of the season if this is all too difficult.

Praying EFL might consider a break til Easter if Boris’ roadmap tomorrow allows some fans back in May! We need some sort of ‘Devine’ intervention to save us I think listening to Kalas’ totally shot IV yesterday. Would give us time to regroup, and appoint our new saviour ! Probably no chance with TV rights etc but a lot of clubs need the money. Anything to stop the tailspin!
At least we have Ryley!

I’ve been keeping the faith since 1973 ! My hope is that our best ever period was built around a base of home grown talent like we are starting to see now . However I fear a complete reset is needed with new owners whenever.
Anyway, I saw glimpses of Gary Collier in Ryley yesterday which took me back etc so lets hope 2023 (50 yrs on - I can’t believe it) can be a turning point (upwards) - you just have to be positive!
