  1. I have become a Zakista over the season - I do think that since LM has come in he has had a much bigger role in getting things moving - previously James was coming back to pick up the ball in the centre and initiate play much more. More challenging passing = more potential for error

I bet he doesn't have the first idea what KAIZEN is....

'Kaizen is a concept of continuous improvement that involves all employees and processes. It is applied to various industries, such as manufacturing, healthcare, and government, and aims to eliminate waste and redundancies.'

    eliminate redundancies!

  3. I'd like to push anything by David Goldblatt, if you like analysis and insight into football and society. 'The Ball is round' is a wonderful doorstopper history of world football, as is his later 'The age of football'. For understanding how the Premier League became the cess pit of greed and corruption, 'The game of our lives' is great and there is also a good 'un about Brazilian football 'Futebol Nation'. He's a local too, although a bit of a gashead.

  4. Lewes FC have a lovely set up, owned by their fans (including me...) and some of the best graphics advertising their games.

They were pioneers in paying their women's FC properly, which is why they are in the women's championship. As a Lewes born and bred, Bristol based Red (and black) I think we should sing their praises, despite being hijacked by a g*shead....
