Would Josh Brownhill, club captain of a premier league team, team of the year in the championship last year, shortlisted for league player of the year, walk back into our starting line up?
I’m hoping this is just a massive whoosh moment on my part.
When you put it like that I would suggest probably not

Modern day club legend, good business from the club but gutted to see him depart.

The "big clubs" are now the "big clubs" as determined by their history
We didn't make the cut years ago and now we never will!

Not entirely the same but I was at Twerton Park last season at the game where Alex Fletcher (Who has made one of the most remarkable sporting comebacks i've ever seen) absolutely smashed into the concrete surrounding wall head first.. And i'll never forget the sound it made you could hear it clear as day in the opposite corner of the ground. With the reaction from the opponent and medical staff it was clear something was seriously wrong but to be honest from the thump before hand you already knew.

Just another stop on his journey - hate it all you want but they are where you need to be to sign players of his calibre.
I know you're right - it's the same old at the moment. When it boils down to it, it's just jealousy!

All of that to join ****ing Bournemouth

Life is short i'd rather experience the extreme high and lows rather than steady mediocrity!

This is ace
I really hope you're strong enough internally to settle for absolute footballing mediocrity.
I absolutely love this club, I hope you do too. Welcome aboard, mate.

The big clubs are just the "big clubs" now.. I can't see what will change that
You've got players leaving clubs like Brighton - a club in the absolute form of their life looking to break into the top 4/6 still leaving to play for the likes of Chelsea or Liverpool rather than staying where they are trying to build something
When Leicester won the league players still left for these "big clubs"..
It is what it is now we're too late to become a big club

Poor window?
Haydon Roberts on a free? Rob Dickie?
Seeing as we haven’t seen McCrorie play & the West Brom lad has had barely 20 minutes I’m interested in how you are defining it as poor?
Are you referring to Scott leaving? Surely no one thought he would stay?
Are we all feeling more or less optimistic after this window?
im not disputing some of the buys are sound but in the grand scheme of things we look thinner and weaker as a squad

One of the very few highlights of a poor window so far, looks a very good player!

Turns out he did make it at Centre Back christ!
-
Bradley Stoke - Definitely a tough tackling Left Back, deemed to short to play his preferred position at Centre Back. Forged a very successful career in Leagues 1 & 2 but found his big move to the Championship a bit to much of a step up

did a quick wiki search - still scoring goals for fun at non-league level to be fair to him!

Why not go on the OS and see for yourself how many are left ?
Weird response on a fans forum, why can't people just be helpful?

He's 74. Most people that age don't work at all.
He'll be bailing clubs out of relegation battles until he's triple digits mark my words

Not many people in the world can brag about only needing to work about 6 weeks out of the year.. There will always be a job for him come late March early April!

It's an especially weak league this season. Watched Millwall v Birmingham last night and couldn't believe Millwall were anywhere near the top 6 never mind in it.
On review seems a bit of an opportunity missed this season

that due to the volume of injuries the club will be offering raffle tickets and those lucky few chosen will be on the bench
-
Couldn't have been a better draw IMO
One of the Italian sides or Benfica to make the final!
