Got a feeling we might start with a bit of complacency and go a goal down. That'll wake up the Gate and we'll roar them on to a 2-1 victory.
We surely cannot be complacent on a day like this!!!

Take us home boys!!

It doesn't warrant it though does it. Our team is a shambles, disallowed goal or not

I would take Flint off and bring Magnusson on about now. Calmer defender plus better ball distributer
Strange timing after he just made what sounded like a goal saving tackle

I stand corrected then - although I do recall that we were much better in the 2nd half after he had been subbed off playing Djuric and Abraham up front.

Recent good performances?
Yeah first half against Derby, second half against Rotherham. We did alright against Sheff Weds as well. There's not many to choose from but Tomlin has been absent for them.

Is it a coincidence that all of our recent good performances have been without Lee Tomlin?

The way I see it is the only way we can win this game is to keep a clean sheet. If we concede 1 we will concede 3. I've never seen a team's heads collectively drop so much after conceding goals. Finger crossed Newcastle get frustrated and start making errors.

I am hopeful. This team is much different to the one who blew it last time. Also, maybe (and it's a big maybe) we've finally learned from our mistakes. COYR!!

Commentator on Player - "It might well be attack against defence... which is fine because we have a 2 0 lead" - assume he wasn't at Derby then?!?

Have a feeling we are going to turn up today...
What happens next is anyone's guess!
