Pring + hernia op booked this week (hamstring tightened) will be fine for pre-season

Yea caught that in the Manning interview. Be out for next week of course but sounds like it’s the right thing for Cam going forward.

On todays game - can’t remember too many times seeing us so superior to the opposition. Nice way to see off AG for a few months!

  2. Same 19 players as the Norwich game, with the addition of young Elijah Morrison as we fill the bench. Last home game with nothing on it - be nice to see Morrison get some minutes!

Ipswich have a lot of top league history - 26 seasons in the last 60 years, including winning it of course, plus FA Cup winners - and have produced some superb players over the years.

Not a fashionable club, but good solid support, and worthy of a place in the PL should they get there.

    Good, fair points.

Celtic 16-17 under Brendan Rodgers were unbeaten in all domestic competitions completing the treble.

Other than that can't think of any recent examples.

Fair play. Struggled more in Europe I assume. The day Celtic or Rangers go unbeaten in Europe will be confusing 🤣 then again I guess Rangers didn't lose much in their Europa league run!

Wow, gotta disagree mate. Think two were for me. The handball nailed on - he moved his arm towards it and stopped the ball going to Wood for a great chance.

  6. He can do a job at LB for sure but whenever we’re in a back 3 he needs to play LCB. Been excellent. A serious prospect and someone we should view as a near nailed-on starter for next season.

  7. Backwell and JKL are on youth-squad duty so no involvement today, only Dickie comes in as we name one fewer sub than last week. Great to have the big man back, my biggest want from today is seeing him come through unscathed! COYR 🔴⚪

Sheffield Wednesday & Plymouth this year are scrapping to stay up & one of them is very likely to return to league one.

And I was at Hillsborough when we got turned over. Home Park was a close run thing too!

  9. The post-match footage of the fans and team celebrating are pretty special. The city will be one massive party tonight.

Also - Xabi Alonso looks so cool all the time. I’m a bit jealous.

  10. Honestly, thought we (home fans) were disappointing today. 3 wins and unbeaten in last 4, booing off at HT? At 0-0? James was disappointing today, as were many, but the pelters he was getting around me were embarrassing. Think some people need the summer.

  11. Bit scary seeing Max take that hit and then look a little sore for a while after but soldiered on! Hopefully we hear no more of it.

Enjoyable, karmic finale. Well done boys 🔴⚪

  12. 1 out, 2 in as we name a full bench. Vyner completes the set as all of our senior centre-halves are now injured. Roberts and Tanner fill in with Pring and McCrorie the full-backs - meaning all our fit defenders start in a makeshift back 4. Backwell and fit again TGH are on the bench.

  13. Tough one.

    1. Dickie

    2. Vyner

    3. Max

    4. Tanner

    5. Knight

Can see defence was our strength. Roberts and McCrorie have both impressed me too!

James unlucky not to make it, I’ve just gone with Knight but that may well be because his good work stands out so much more to the eye. Which isn’t Matty’s fault but there you go.

Rogue shout I considered was Anis. Increasingly seeing signs of the player we want.
