He certainly was and had his best years with us. Don't think he really hit those levels again though, particularly at Boro. We did well to get a few years good service and then a decent fee for him.

Haven't checked it myself but i think they said on RTV yesterday that Weimann's shots to goals ratio is: The best in the Championship. 3rd best in England. Makes the top 10 across the 4 top European leagues+ Champ. Impressive if correct. Watching the highlights earlier, what a brilliant lung busting run, right at the end of the game to get on that cross. His energy levels are equally impressive.

It's a decent group for England. Rather play Iran first than USA or potential WAL/SCO game. Should be able to get out of that group. Knockout stages are anyones guess but i dont think any side will fancy facing England in the same way we would prefer to avoid France etc.
