Clear view of the arm out . Now I'd say a natural position for trying to block, but that changes when it stops the cross as he has gained an advantage.

Cross on it's way and you can clearly see raised arm.

Still able to see his arm after the ball has hit it.

I can't download this to slow mo it , I'll try and find it somewhere I can but I'm not hopeful.

 

If it wasn’t sure before, I definitely am now; 100% a penalty, he’s stopped the cross going into the box with his raised arm. As I said before, I was in E28 so had a perfect side on view and this only ratified my original opinion.

Granted I’d be furious if we gave something like this away in the last minute but rules are rules, just don’t shoot the messenger

As per my OP, I called for it because it looked stonewall to me.

Re. extra time, does anybody else think the whole issue around added time could be solved by scrapping it completely and just stop the clock when the ball isn’t in play, when there’s an injury, substitution, goal etc. just like rugby? That way there can’t be any complaints and the game just finishes when it reaches 90 minutes.

To give a parallel, let’s say you were a big fan of Star Wars and loved the original films. They were entertaining, fun and guaranteed you a good time.

Well as a Star Wars fan, I do agree with the Jar Jar sentiment  

However I will say a good 2 minutes at the end of a football match can save it whilst a good 2 minutes at the end of a film won’t save it. At the end of the day people can do whatever, I just don’t agree with it.

I must be in the minority, but I genuinely thought that was a stonewall penalty…

I was sat in Dolman E28 so it happened pretty much right infront of me and from that angle, it just looked blatant. Any one else agree with me or I’m I chatting a load of rubbish? Happy to be proved wrong.

I get it if people have places to be, trains to catch, buses, etc… but other than that, I think it’s pretty pathetic.

The way we lost tonight hurts more than the actual loss itself. 

I gotta be honest, the subs killed the game. We were on top and had all the momentum until they came on.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but my god did we miss Scott Twine and his set piece delivery last night and we’ve only had him for a game!

Scott Twine’s set piece delivery is what we’ve been missing for a few years now. Could’ve easily picked up one or two goals from corners today alone, I think we will nick a few between now and the end of the season.

Twine’s just scored two banging free kicks in the warm up, hopefully a sign of things to come

Thought so. Managed to secure my ST seat so was merely interested in the amount tickets left for the game.

Does people having certain seats in their baskets have anything to do with them not showing up? Might explain why they might end up reappearing if people decided not to buy the seats that are in basket.
