Luckily the players don't need to worry about all this modern day terminology, a few grins to the camera while saying "Yeah no" a few times and you're good to go.

Please just get rid. Sucked the life out of the game, players and fans can't properly celebrate goals, decisions still take far too long and countless errors are still being made. Just let the refs get on with it, accept there will still be some errors made but at least then we can then get back to genuinely celebrating goals again.

Another Yate resident and City fan here. Recently moved into Ladden Garden Village, thank god they recently built the Sainsbury's Local, apart from that there's a few bus stops, around 2000 houses (with more constantly being built) and not much else...

Also I liked previously how when a goal was scored in the live reporting it flashed up in a bright yellow block on screen which created excitement. They seem to have got rid of/in the process of getting rid of that too.

Their keeper will then parry it back into our path, the taker will round the keeper who will then trip them up and we'll get another penalty.

Which we will then score.

I'm in my mid 30s now but in my teenage years I used to absolutely love going in the East End - the atmosphere was unbelievable. Indeed my first memories of going to games at Ashton Gate were just incredible feelings of awe at the partisan and raucous atmosphere inside the ground, "being all in it together" and a massive majority cheering the team on with the almost constant chanting, singing etc. Over the years since I have felt the club becoming more and more sanitised with each passing year, more geared towards families and seemingly not bothered by the waning atmosphere at games. When going to games I felt alienated and disconnected.

Covid meant I got out of the habit of going to games altogether and unbelievably I haven't been one since. I haven't felt compelled to come back either, content with supporting the team from afar and hoping that maybe one day the "edge" might return. 

Large numbers of our support saying enough is enough, culminating in the A-Block move has re-ignited a spark and passion in me that has been missing for a long time. For me hearing about the vastly improved atmosphere on Saturday prompted by the move is the signal that I needed to finally return to the Gate. Fingers crossed it continues. COYR.

Tesco shopping without Molly just hasn't been the same. Honestly may even have to change supermarkets because of it - it's that upsetting not seeing her there! A total Yate legend. Fingers crossed she comes down from heaven to make an appearance in the game
