Just seen the highlights on YT. How did we not win? Thought Cornick looked lively, some nice crossfield passes. Tanner took his goal well.
Absolute nailed-on penalty, though!
Sometimes the highlights are laughable, suggesting that the game was all one way.
Funny how a guilt edged chance for Cheltenham was omitted just before the Tanner goal - looked harder to miss.

It sounded like a "friendly" as in as much as if we played the sags
Lots of strong heavy tackles that Exeter were not expecting
Went to this game - Exeter were very poor but unsure if it was anything near their 1st team (player sent off early but they were already 2-0 down).
Torquay looked decent TBF and a good bet for National League South.- 2

Like a few others, I was looking at cashing in any rewards points for gift vouchers that the kids and I have accumulated this season. Having a little shopping spree in the club shop on our last home game of the season next Saturday etc.....
It seems as though you can only obtain 1 x £5 Gift Voucher maximum regardless of points....? Anybody managed to get multiple gift vouchers?

Exiled Robin and Ole quoted. Two big hitters! Good article and I like the bit from Ole about how nothing untoward is going on. I agree

City far too good for this Cardiff team it seems.
I thought so too and foolishly backed them on Betfair....

Why oh why would we play Williams in this? He looked good when he came on v Swansea and I was hoping he'd be pushing for a replacement for James on Saturday - pretty much nailed on sub now what with his fitness / injury record.

Updated to now include the penalty we got awarded the time before (Millwall away FA Cup 23rd Jan 2021 I think - Please let me know if I've got this wrong!). Obviously discounting the Forest Green penalty shoot-out....

The law of averages is just that, I once span number 32 4 times in a row when I worked in a casino it cost them thousands, the odds on it happening are nearly two million to one but just occasionally these anomaly's happen, live long enough and we might even be awarded a penalty in 4 successive games, IT will happen one day.
Haha yes! Not one to moan but when you add some of our penalty claims into the mix it really is perplexing - Anyone got that Alex Scott one v QPR to hand?? Beggar's belief!

Driver warning ahead of Walsall M6 bridge demolition - BBC News
Just a heads up for all you devoted souls heading to Huddersfield. The M42 looks a better bet this weekend but there will doubtless be chaos anywhere around Birmingham no matter what!
Thanks for that - Looks like the work starts 8pm tonight so hopefully through there by then, that said maybe a nightmare coming home on Sunday =(

Preparing for the long trip from Torbay.... Anyone parking at the ground? (Looks easy enough).
Also do we know how many roughly we'll be taking to the John Smith's Stadium?

Parking tickets - near Ashton Inn 😒
in Football Chat
Posted
While attending yesterday, I ended up with a parking ticket - Looked like everyone got the same, parked on that one way road that passes the Ashton Inn.
The ticket says 'prohibited as parked on a red route or clearway'. Is this a new thing? Lots of people park there for every game. I didn't see any signage mentioning any restrictions.
Worth appealing?
