  1. Mods please move if this isn't okay to post in football chat.

I've just found out I have next Friday off, and I'm looking for three seats together. There's a few individuals left but can't see any next to eachother, thought I'd ask on here incase anybody is now unable to make it and needs to shift their tickets.

Me and the other lads are all members, so all have supporter IDs to transfer the tickets to.

    Cheers!

If all STs buy tickets there will still be the best part of 9000 left at 10am, so fingers crossed members with fast fingers will be able to buy.

Might want to double check the customer relationships on your account before 10am. I had to adjust daughter's status so I could get hers. Details further up the thread. Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up mate, have just made them both strong relationships on my settings so SHOULD be straightforward but I'm not going to kid myself that much.

I don't know how many have been sold but ive just taken a look and there is plenty of 3 seats together in both the Lansdown and the Dolman. Obviously more may become available if not all 15k ST holders buy tickets.

    Good luck 👍

Thanks for having a look mate, sounds promising. We don't mind where we sit, just getting three together would be great so I'll be waiting with bells on 👍🏻

  4. Hoping any season ticket holders can give an idea of how many tickets will be left at 10am? I'm a member and was hoping they'd have an extra priority window for having attended 3/5 games etc, because I'm sure at £27 for 12 months and the cup ticket price caps there will be a LOT of new members.

Wondering what the odds are of getting 3 seats (got my old man and my mate linked to my account) by eachother are if I'm online and logged in for 9.30, ready for release at 10. İn the case there isn't any 3 together how is 2 looking?

    Cheers boys 🤞🏻

Hey look I have no issue at all with players getting a good wedge of tickets for their families and friends. It's a huge night for them, for some it will be one of the biggest games they ever play in and they should be able to have their nearest and dearest in attendance.

No of course not, I just mean the general lack of people that use the ticketing system knowing how awful it can be when over-ran. Players families should have almost unlimited access IMO so think that came across badly on my end!

"No Rob, you have to click the link not the "Buy Tickets" button. Yes, I know its confusing. No, don't scroll all the way down...argh now you've put two tickets in. Right, step aside. I'll do it. Just give me your password. Jesus Rob, your birthday...really?"

You just get them to link their account. They can't be trusted  ?

I was chatting to someone on Saturday who said Jerry spent hours up at the RHPC last week helping players set up accounts so they could get tickets.

Definitely happens. I did it with my friends for the Utd match but it wasn't difficult because the Atyeo didn't sell out straight away. I think by 10.30 at most tomorrow they'll be gone, as I'm guessing they have the whole Atyeo for an FA Cup match.

  8. Mods feel free to move if this is in the wrong place.

Basically I have a NOW TV subscription w/ the sports package so Sky Sports Channels as follows:

    Main Event

    Sky Sports News

    Premier League

    Football

    Cricket

    Racing

    F1

    Golf

    Action

    Arena

    Mix

My subscription allows me to have six devices registered and three devices streaming simultaneously. As it stands there is only two of us using it and three devices registered, so if anybody wants Sky Sports but doesn’t want to pay full whack for it then I’m happy to provide somebody with the login details to have two registered devices and be able to stream with one device at any given time.

The three device package costs £38 per month and I’m not looking to make a profit on it just trying to save some money and help a fellow red out with a cheap, HD Sky Sports package. Can be streamed via almost any Smart TV, PS4 / Xbox One, PS5 / Xbox Series S & X, Computers & Laptops, Smart Phones & Tablets.

Willing to provide the login details for £12.50 per month which works out as £37.50 per person, so as I said I won’t be making a profit.

If anybody is interested please get in touch and we can sort out payment and I can provide the log in details :)

    Thanks,

    YCbrs

Remember that FA Youth Cup final game v us when he came on for Man City and completely changed the game.

Remember it like it was yesterday, scored a Le Tissier - esque flick over one of our defenders before volleying in. Remember walking home with my old man and we couldn’t believe what we’d seen, was definitely destined for a bright future.

  10. Egypt are so bad, apart from their keeper I am so glad that Mane slotted that second one in the shoot out. Under pressure Salah should have stepped up earlier though, all well and good taking the winning kick but not if it doesn’t make it to you.

People saying Senegal did the same thing but Senegal have far better players and I know it’s only penalties but quality shows when it’s fine margins like that.

  11. I’m an ambassador for the National Deaf Childrens’ Society & PADI Conservation, which helps protect Marine Life. Next Saturday I’ll be running the Cardiff 5k to try and raise £100 for the NDCS. I would be doing the 10k and the next race I take part in will be a longer distance but unfortunately my knees aren’t in the best shape as it stands so don’t want to risk hurting myself. I will also be running and doing fundraisers for PADI Conservation in the future but this is the closest I have lined up. Any donations or shares would be greatly appreciated.

My view, we were poor because we never got to grips with competing and winning those individual battles.  A poor spell before half time and just after, gave Blackpool a cushion that flattered them a bit (not their endeavours / competitiveness mind you), that meant they could see out the game.

We huffed and puffed, even when we got a goal we never looked like we might have a late surge.

    Was it that bad?  No.

Does it warrant “Nigel’s time is nearing an end”?  No, unless you’ve always wanted him out.

Does he have work to do?  Yep, loads of it.  Today will be helpful to his future thinking.

Is the work to do constrained by finances?  Yep and by injuries, but Nige isn’t using that as an excuse.

FWIW Connolly did a job on Alex Scott.  Chris Martin never got into the game.  Massengo, Dasilva and Pring can come out of today with credit…Massengo especially.

    Thats my view anyway.

Okay doesn’t sound too bad, I’m not in the Pearson out camp whatsoever - his record in this division is too good and he’s been heavily hampered with finances.

As long as he keeps us up which is looking a lot more likely than a couple of months ago then I think a proper pre season and hopefully get some money for Wells and Palmer which gives him a bit of flexibility in the transfer market, combined with the young lads that have come through this season and cemented themselves (obviously hoping we can keep hold of Semenyo and HNM as well) then a much fairer judgement can be made about his future as our man.

Thanks for the analysis anyway Dave always helpful from your perspective ??

I knew those Cameroon players would miss just based on their run ups. Such a huge moment in their professional careers and that's the run up they go with.... I don't get it. But they're the ones there and it's a situation I'll never experience.

If you hit it as hard as you can and it gets saved, you feel awful but at least it was a decent effort, two step and stutter run ups never make sense for me. Even Ronaldo smashes every penalty as hard as he can and he’s the best pen taker of all time IMO.

I was going to make the same point as YCbrs, but didn't really want to get pulled into the thread just to show I'm a 58-year-old music nerd.

Oh shit. I just have.

That’s impressive for a 58 year old mate fair play to you!

That single sentence confirms the sad realisation that I am, signally, a man out of time.

Haha, drill is awful in my opinion, and I’m only 27. Grime is like fast rap that takes significant skill but drill is just talking about shooting people and stabbing people constantly with absolutely minimal ‘flow’ in terms of rapping skill. My opinion obviously but younger people seem to enjoy it I guess so guess I’m not a target audience ?

Not been a good week for Man Utd.

Started off with Rashford and Lingard spending time and being photo'd with drill rapper Wiley, who I can only describe as a Nazi sympathiser based on what he said about Jewish people. Both Rashford and Lingard asked their pr companies to put up half assed apologies on twitter and must use the same one due to the strange choice of the same word. (if you know, you know)

And now news about Greenwood has come out. More to this story but I don't want to speculate because of legalities but if you piece things together, it becomes clearer. Like why Southgate didn't select him after Iceland. More to it than just the hotel quarentine breech.

He’s a grime rapper, never made a drill song in his life. And despite his views outside of the music scene which I don’t agree with, he pretty much invented the genre so can understand why they wanted their photos taken with him. He also has several mental health problems so can see that he may have said some things on social media that he probably regrets a lot now.
