Today the substitutions were terrible, needed some to break them down not 4 strikers, however it isn’t a recurring theme so let’s hope he learns from mistakes today.

Surely depends who’s buying

Today was dire, absolutely dire and a prime example of how this modern trend of Play Station football will be the death of the game we love.
It is well known that The Etihad is a library and that is because nothing exciting happens there anymore
Clubs that try and emulate this beware. Today, 21,000 people were bored rigid watching players endlessly recycling the ball in an attempt to emulate this turgid shite
It was probably the worst atmosphere I think I have ever experienced in 50 years of watching football at The Gate, there was literally nothing to get excited about
At least the "dinosaur" football that I used to watch was exciting. Wingers taking on their full backs, through balls, crosses, shots, stuff that used to get you out of your seat, ALL GONE thanks to this modern brand of football which is dull as dishwater
We've been sold the Emperor's new clothes, there is no substance to it, PlayStation is NOT REAL. When are people going to open their eyes to this game killer....
Mark this down as early contender for over reaction of the year.
Will be many more candidates.

I hate to say but you massively don't understand how financing a football club works
The money that goes in and out of the football club is NOT via SLs bank account
Of course it isn’t.
Club runs up debt (consistently) converts said debt to shares which SL buys (from his own funds). This dilutes all other share holders in process but that I see as largely irrelevant.
the fact is SL has funded stadium and club for many year. That is very different to saying he has been a complete success

did he really? or was it one of his business`s ?
I always believed the man/woman or whoever is not the business, the business is the business?
We are talking about someone here who started in his bedroom and made many, many millions probably not by paying for football stands to be built though.
Apart from very dubious manager selections he is no fool, as the saying goes "fools and money are soon parted"
He made money from his business and invested in Stadium (not BCFC) simples!!

Do you think the money came solely from his personal bank account?
Where else?
It was his money where he chooses to hold it is his business.- 1

Genuine concern of mine too.
Lansdown’s stubbornness and ego has always led his decision making.
When a man wipes out a predecessor’s memory and legacy by renaming a stand after themselves whilst still in situ, it should tell you all you need to know about the man.
How confident are we that he’ll pick a buyer who will quickly overshadow his regime?
You mean the stand he paid for to be built?

I posted message previously that my phone doesn’t support contactless so I have requested a physical card.
As yet card has not arrived, in response to previous message you said to give you shout if not arrived by yesterday.
My Supporter ID is 1140433.
Cheers

my support id is 1140433
Thanks in advance

Kennilworth Road could become a fortress for Luton and therefore their sole(?) source of points and even contribute to survival for a short time?
I'll tell you why. Tuesday 27th august 1996/7 season .......... AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! ......A date seared in my memory
Went with my little boy who found it totally captivating that we had to go through some old dears back garden to get to the away end. Then all down the left side of the pitch ARE BEACH CHALETS!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!.
If that juxtaposition doesn't seriously send the away hard nuts away reeling and speechless, chattering amongst themselves and missing the game then what?
Next to say their fans are vile would be a kindness. Horrible animals.
They beat us 5 nil, yes that's right. Their goalie (cheeky ****er) even came up near the half way line to take a potshot!!
Cole Skuse was new to the team and made it obvious how p*** por he thought the others were playing
One of theirs was a penalty by that cretin Kevin Nicholls (next in line for the head of the Orcs) and didn't that ****er make the most of winding us up when it went in.
BUT 5 NIL WASN'T ENOUGH FOR THEM!!!!!!!! That's why they are vile and to be feared??
On the way back to the station they were giving 2 fingers and other lovely salutations to a 6 year old boy and his dad
Brilliant, best post in a long time, I found this hilarious!!

They were playing the top team in the country. Hardly ‘less appealing’. Unless you think the FA Cup is second rate? They look after their season ticket holders.
Hmm, wake up, the FC Cup is second rate and has been for many years!!

Excellent player, no doubt. Only question is how far will he go? Prem, top 6, top 4 England?
I suspect he has quality for top 6, if he continues to develop could be the very top.

What is record games without a pen in professional football?
Are we getting close? Would be good to celebrate a record. -

If Han-Noah is the answer, I'd be keen to hear what the question is...
The midfield perform today, he could of replaced all 3 as all were poor.
