That lad Campbell-Slowey looks a player.
Looks class, good at reading the game and composed on the ball.

I'd be surprised if Archie Gray stays in the championship next year if Leeds don't go up.
Mehmeti seems to have lost his spark, quite easy for the defenders to read his game. He doesn't have the out and out pace to go past people.

Brrrristol.
Never hear any of these nowadays. But let’s be honest, we generally have eff all to get excited about. If we ever had a really good season chasing the autos I’m pretty sure the atmosphere would be a lot better.
Even a straight forward, Come on you reds when we kick off or get a corner would help lift the whole ground!

I expect the singing section fell asleep like the rest of us after about 20 minutes. Absolutely nothing on the field to sing or get excited about.
It was dreadful on the pitch tonight but seemed to be matched by lack of energy off of it. S82 need to go back to songs to lift the whole crowd at times. All the different ultra songs just don't work.

From the start we were off it. Players not up to it a few days after Cov and Leeds not playing midweek made a big difference.
No doubt Leeds are a top side in this division but we just didn't have the fitness levels to put our stamp on the game.

The snowflake football today is completely sanitised I know. Prefer the old skool stuff TBH. Not necessarily the rucks, but the Forest lads did come looking for trouble and they found it.
Exactly. I was there, forest were swinging at anyone coming out of the away end that day. If it wasn't for the blokes that chased them back to the Amici bar, a lot of innocents would have been caught up in it.

Lack of quality against a well organised, physical millwall side!

We played there in 2008 I think on boxing day and dont think we were close to selling out then either. Can't find what we took there but the highlights definitely had empty seats at the front.
Yep, loads of empty seats that day. We won 4-2, Ivan Sproule was running riot on the wing!

Mehmeti needs a good run in the team, he reminds me of a Ryan Kent type player who can turn things on when you need a goal.
I did observe against WBA in the warm up that he didn't look happy and had a bit of a grump when he had to go in the middle. Wonder if it is attitude holding him back.

From the singing section, I personally only heard West Brom twice, i know it depends where you are sat in the ground.
I get that, never a lack of effort from the singing section and when you're in it, it seems loud. I was E30 dolman, by halfway but closer to singing section. West Brom as you'd expect with a big away following was very loud. A general lack of joining in from dolman and South stand first half didn't help.

West Brom fans have hardly made a sound, despite big numbers in the Atyeo.....
Are the acoustics in that stand rubbish...... or is it because they aren't making any noise..?!
West Brom were very loud first half for 20 minutes. City were very quiet, the singing section were trying but lots of poor song choices. City better 2nd half, trying to get behind the team but outsung for large parts.

Surprised people rave about Zak, was very sloppy in possession up until his goal saving tackle. Watch how he jumps in creating the space for the west brom striker, got fortunate to get back this time:

It doesn’t matter where the ‘singing’ fans are situated. In my experience over the last 7-8 years, there’s only a couple of hundred who regularly bother to sing anyway.
Stick them behind the goal - same 300 fans. Same noise.
The location is a minor contributing factor. The main factor in a lack of atmosphere is that only a few hundred make any noise.
I would rather see a full away end than a half full one. So I don’t mind giving them the full allocation. I thought Brum on Saturday were the loudest we’ve had down here in quite a while and fair play to ‘em.
Would I rather City fans at both ends and away fans up in the gods? Yeah, of course.
But no matter where the City fans are, if only 250 sing it ain’t gonna make any difference.Spot on and been going on longer than 7-8 years! Remember all those people moaning when the atyeo was the home end and the noise 'got lost' because the roof wasn't pitched right! City can easily out sing the away end but only rare occasions everyone actually joins in.

Enjoyed the finish yesterday, decent opportunity for Cavendish to be up in the mix today
-
First half was a bit disappointing, it doesn't help that section 82 kept on with that song. Much better 2nd half though
-
Some impressive performances there, fingers crossed we can keep the pressure on 2nd half!

Penny for your thoughts anyone?!

I was there, don't remember palace having any boys though. City definitely took the p*ss that day. Unfortunately some who were off their heads assumed palace were coming through a gate on the way out and attacked them not realising they were City.

To think Vyner was given a 3 year contract in 2020, stealing a living at this level.
-
It's clearly not a penalty from the different angle on the Quest highlights. Semenyo clearly kicks the defender. Ref got it right.

Let's not knock Zack. You watch the season highlights and 9 times out of 10 he will be our closest defender to the opposition goal scorer.
Get him on the right side of that opposition goal scorer and we will have the makings of a cracking defender.
He might be the closest defender but watch how he continually backs off. Any decent defender that is scared of pace would be trying to get the opposition player onto their wrong foot.
He's 24 now, since his full debut in 2016 he's had enough chances to change but he's always got a mistake in him.

I love how fans make massive leaps.
Player goes on a bad run of form and is low on confidence - all of a sudden they dont want to be here.
Total nonsense.
It's not just a bad run of form though. The lad has always struggled to make the grade at the level expected by the fans (top half championship).

There was no atmosphere until we scored, get behind the team from the start!

There's your vyner mistake, ball watching. Let off from Campbell there!

Personally think that was a plus, some refs blow far too quickly when an advantage was the better option!
