I think we will get a 2-1 win -
I wonder how much Chelsea generate each year in loan fees? They have always seemed to loan out quite a few players in the past.

I'm not very well and I don't know where else to go

Never feel that you should diminish how you feel or compare yourselves to others. Sometimes the brain is gonna be out of whack, and that's okay. We are all here to support you in whatever way you need. -
That is a fair and valid point.

I'm in no way saying we've done badly, more that it's a market we never seem to explore too much. Other clubs in the past have utilized it well - currently Brighton seem to be utilizing it very well (Brentford have had success recently too, before their promotion). Our usage of the foreign market hasn't been too great. I dunno if it's our scouting network.... just think we are missing out.
-
Might've been more cost effective for them to buy the club. The thing I wish we could do more of, that Brighton do very well, is get very good players from abroad at cheap prices then turn in a huge profit.

Scott is actually going to be out for a few months.... so if anything Nige downplayed his injury.

Alex Scott - £25m to Bournemouth- Confirmed

Sad to see Alex go, but all the best to him. I think he'll be a top player in the EPL before long. There are a lot of positives out of the deal to look at. We are going to be an attractive prospect to promising youngsters at other clubs (if we weren't before). -
For the striker, I was wondering if Nige would get in a loan 'til Jan, but again, those cost. CB - if we get someone, I'd hope it'd be a young competitor - if he wants a project, just wait for Araoye to develop a little more. GK - I personally would like someone in to challenge Max, rather than just a back up. I agree that a CM should be the priority, as that's what we just lost.... but I'm unsure if we should get a defensive player or attacking player.
-
If possible a GK, CB and CM. Maybe a striker, but those cost.

It'll be very sad to see Alex go, but unfortunately, like most championship clubs, we can't turn that down. I'm hoping for at least a new defender, midfielder and goalie in.... Not sure we'll get all that, though. -
From my understanding, he was offered a new contract last season, which was either turned down or left unsigned, and then offered another contract after they came back for preseason (which I assume is a better offer), which has either been rejected or not as yet signed.

Kalas - Signed for Schalke04

Maybe he's waiting for Ashton to get desperate? -
Max Tanner Vyner Dickie Pring James Knight Weimann Cornick Conway Mehmeti If Scott passes fit, I can see him replacing Weimann, I think Pring might edge the nod over Roberts, but it's close. Went for Mehmeti over Bell, because I think Mehmeti did better in preseason from what I heard and saw, and I think Bell would be better coming on as a sub against a tired defence.
-
I think 6th. If Alex goes, really depends on who replaces him.

Great read and analysis, Dave.

Wonder how much longer they will give LJ.

You never know. Not gonna judge beforehand.

Jordan obviously wants one last big paycheck before retiring. Football is a short enough career as is, so I won't begrudge him that. Other players are doing it and not getting criticized (as far as I am aware), so why should Jordan be any difference? Maybe he will try and utilize his position and promote gay rights?

For me, it's not about not using a card - I use my card or phone to pay for most things.... but I do carry cash with me in case I find myself somewhere that seems dodgy (like a service station that seems iffy, a Swansea club shop, or more relevant in my case in the US - a Walmart - had so many people I know had their card info taken and used illegally by staff at Walmarts) in which case I want the option of using cash as an alternative.
-
If only he'd offered to pay in sheep....
-
Whilst I don't condone the abusive behaviour they are accusing him of, if he left the correct amount in legal tender, then the club shouldn't be able to prosecute him for theft, IMO.
