HNM took a knock at about 42 minutes, could see he was struggling but just trying to get to half time. 2nd half could not seem to get going again, up to the injury thought he was one if our better players.

I agree do not like scapegoating a player as often undeserved, thought Vyner was partly at fault in the build up to the pen last week as his man just peeled away from him and ball knocked over his head, again today lost his man initially which gave the space and created the problem. He just seems to either switch off or not capable of the spacial awareness required

I Like the sound of this and can see it working really well. TM has a fantastic attitude and believe he has the ability, but maybe a confidence issue and how to deal with mistakes in a game. Hope it brings out the player he can be and we end up taking the year contract option to come back and play for us

Have been a bit concerned pre-season he seems to be 2nd choice and not being given so much of a chance, maybe the contract situation, but not the way to persuade him to sign a new one

Yeah much better to have someone who knocks it sideways and backwards and does not give if away, but dull as dishwater. The thing I liked about TB he would know where the pass was going before he got the ball, has very good awareness of players and not having to stop so able to move it quickly. Of course forward or quick balls are going to be more risky, sometimes they fail due to being a poor pass, sometimes the pass is good but not read by the receiver or just good interception by the defence. This is where I thought he was good but needed to improve the rest of his game

Shame it has not worked out here, as certainly got the talent and one of the best we had at picking a quick ball forward. Was initially in NPs plans, but something must have been said during the bust up that left him no way back. Obviously has flaws to his game or maybe attitude, hope he can see the error of his ways, goes on to be worth a lot of money which we get a healthy cut of.

Started ok but got poorer as the half went on, not helped by the ref, pompey on top for the last 20 and even with 10 men at the end of the half
