  1. Very disappointed with Nigel's departure. I trusted him and I enjoyed watching the team play.

Now it has sunk in, I am wondering who is responsible for all the injuries in training? We find ourselves again reliant on the academy. Should Pearson and Rennie be taking any blame for that?

I hope there is a better plan, but doubt it.

Apologies if already answered... I have my ticket and my 2 boys tickets on my phone.  My eldest (13) is going to go on Saturday with my Dad.  I can transfer my ticket to Dad, but if I want to transfer a junior ticket to him, we have to pay upgrade fee. 13 year olds are blocked from having Google wallet, so my son can't have it on his phone.  Any advice on this other than contacting supporter services?

Sorry - figured it out... ?

  4. Took my boy to his first away game this season and it was the first time I had seen the extent of this. The pent up aggression in the queue for the toilets was enough to put my boy off from going at half time.

I totally support any action against this and believe that we will get more away support because of it.

The turning point was when Pearson arrived. Success sometimes takes a bit of time and a lot of hard work.
Look what the blokes done without spending a lot of money

We used to celebrate a shot on target... Love the clean sheet

What do your reckon salary will be?

    My guess £20-24k

    Its a young man’s game.

Edit. It’s the Lead role, so maybe £30k

    Still a young man’s game.

Watford advertise full time unpaid roles!  Should not be allowed - effectively modern day slavery.

  7. We are safe, but in need of some good business in the summer. The NP 3 year plan. Fully expected an uncomfortable season and expected to finish 18th. Since Christmas (around the QPR game), I have largely enjoyed watching us play and we have moved from celebrating a goal on target (last year) to a goal scoring team. Bolster the defence and keep 2 of our 3 key players in the summer. Personally, I would sell Massengo to keep Scott and Semenyo (if possible)

  8. Not many billionaires are going to fit into an ethical mindset, when it comes to money. They don't get to that position by luck.

I grew up in a rugby family and used to go to watch the rugby at the Mem (looks to have gone backwards since the 80s). In that time, I used to pine for a day when someone invested in the city's sport, as in a biased way, I believed that it was a deserving city.

To now have Bristol Sport, built out of a Bristol based company that employs a lot of people, I think is fantastic and SL should be commended.  The income taxes paid by the workforce and those that sit on the bench (or Simpson) will be huge.  It is not money coming from Russia or Middle East, which can only be seen as positive.

While not wanting to belittle David's struggle and the unpleasantness of both the condition and the treatment, catching it at Stage II means he has a very good chance of recovery.

A friend of mine developed Hodgkin Lymphona during her third year at university. After a year out, she returned to complete her degree. The cancer returned in her early 40s, again, after 6 months, she was able to resume her job, cancer-free.

I had Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2014 and you are right. Chance of recurring, but for me, the worst part was the diagnosis /staging and treatment planning period. I am sure he will get through it and come back stronger.  I have had no issues since 2014 and came out of it with a lot more focus, time is not for wasting.

He’s best of staying there than coming back to our useless lot!

Concerning to me was that he was asking the father of his girlfriend (retired GP) for medical advice on the weekend. Surely City medical team should have been able to give him all the advice required.
