  1. I feel gutted reading that and I don't even support you. Such a shame for you, you can tell from the outside he was building something.

Hope he gets his health sorted and enjoys whatever he does next. Would love him back at LCFC in a Director of Football type role but I can imagine him taking time out and enjoying his time.

    Hi King Fox.

My first visit to Filbert Street was on Easter Saturday in 1957. Dad's first wife, died in childbirth early 1930's but he always kept in touch with her brother. So we got a train, my Mum and sister stayed with "Auntie" and the three males were in the double decker to see a 1-1 draw with your side who had gained promotion to First Div had Millburn and Arthur Rowley.

I've even been there to see you play Liverpool in mid sixties with a similar trip to aforementioned.

So let's settle for a 1-1 again. You should go back up but I have a sneaky feeling that we could be in the battle to join you.

By the way City fans that was a busy weekend for me as on Good Friday I saw us draw at home with West Ham and then cadged the cash from Dad to go by train to Upton Park on Easter Monday, only 9,000 there and we lost 3-1. Would modern players do that? 3 games in four days and plenty of travel.

    Hi cidered abroad.

Before my time but I bet my Dad was there. He still talks about Arthur Rowley to this day as the best player he has seen play for us.

Obviously hoping we get promoted but I'll be praying you are just behind us. It can't be understated what people like Pearson and King did for our club, and to a lesser extent James.

Looking forward to Saturday hoping for a high scoring win allowing King to come on and score a hat-trick in the last 10 minutes. ?

Do you think Pearson will manage your lot again one day?

I don't think so, he seems pretty content living and working where he is now.

If he did ever come back I'd love him as Director of Football type role. Someone with vision and a plan rather than the useless lump we've been stuck with for years since Walsh left.

  4. Be lucky to get any in the home end. Pretty much sold out as always and we don't release to general sale. Only able to buy a ticket if you have a membership.

Mixed feelings about this one. Obviously want us to win but love Pearson and King more than pretty much anybody at our club nowadays. Hope they get a great reception but just not the result.

I’m not sure on the Kante signing. The one constant has been John Rudkin our DOF. (For better or worse ((ridiculously long contracts for overwhelmingly shite players are really hurting us this last season or so))

Fuchs was signed by Sir Nige but never actually played for him.

Its funny really, should Pearson ever come back here (which I don’t think he will for one second) he’d have just a big a job getting rid of all our overpaid shite as he did when he took over after Sven

Kante was Pearson and Walsh. Ranieri didn't want to sign him and had to be persuaded.

    Okazaki also a Pearson/Walsh/Mackenzie signing.

Letting Ranieri start getting his own way on transfers was his his downfall the year after the title. Pretty similar to now with Rodgers. Utterly useless when given more control over transfers.

    Serious question here.

I’ve got you as dark horses for the drop (sorry). The lack of major summer business, the exits (although keeping Tielemans was a bonus) and doubts over Rodgers ability to pull teams around (good on an upswing, not confident the other way round) all play to this.

With that in mind, I think there is a chance of a vacancy at Leicester shortly. If that was the case, would Pearson be a serious contender (he wouldn’t be at other prem clubs but the relationship is unique). And, most key for us, would he take it?

I don't think he would be, I don't think he'd leave you for a start. You can tell he's building something there, it's so eerily similar to what he did here (twice).

If I'm honest I wouldn't want him to come back in case he couldn't turn it around. He's an absolute god and I want it to stay that way. Don't want him taking the blame for this wreck.

I'll continue to watch you with interest and wish you all the best.

It's great to see what he's doing with you and I hope you stick with him even if you don't make the play-offs this year.

There is no better manager for a long term strategy and you can guarantee your club will be in a much healthier position both on and off the pitch whenever he leaves.

Nige throws himself under the bus to protect his players and build the great spirit.

Unfortunately our current manager is quite the opposite and will throw everyone else under to protect himself, the narcissistic ****.
