Foden is wasted on the left. Play him as the 10, play Bellingham alongside Rice and Palmer on the left of the front 3
I be tempted 4-1-4-1 with rice as the holding midfielder and Saka Foden Bellingham palmer in front

I'd be interested to see how AJ would get on right now against Fury. AJ has looked a lot sharper lately. Will never happen though as Fury just constantly delays all the time
AJ knocks Fury spark out on current form

Usyk is a warrior. I'm glad he put fury in his place! I could just tell by the look in that man's eyes he would win!

It depends on if they see he has the potential to be number 1 one day, max hardy had a sniff at bajics age did he? They might be prepared to load him out to get a full season under his belt at league 2, and replace his place in the squad with a more experienced keeper for the short term. Max had to bide his time!

Really want Coventry to win this now! Love an underdog!

It just really bugs me so much how Nige sifted through all the all shite, got rid of deadwood and drastically cut the wage bill. (All at the request of the muppets above), he created a culture that was second to none and then now we have manning undoing the whole lot (also at the request of the muppets above!) They really have not got a F#####g clue have they? Very bizarre football club in so many ways.

I like the guy! Defo the bite in midfield we need. Needs a new contact 100%

I’m pretty sure the u21 always play a back 3/5

Even Atkinson? I thought he'd been back training for a while? I thought he was pretty close, not another 2 months away, or have I missed something?
I thought I read somewhere that Atkinson and benarous were close to being in contention for the squad. Atkinson a little bit closer.

I for one am excited by his appointment and I really hope he succeeds here as our head coach! He certainly talks a good talk so let’s hope he can walk the walk!!

Can’t quite tell if the “pecking order” comment is a sly dig at the board or not.
Maybe referring to a certain mr Tinnion aswell?

For me, the major thing is the lack of transparency and honesty about where we are. If Steve or Jon Lansdown, or the CEO, came out and said "we're trying to make the club sustainable and we're not going to spend money. We think our squad is good enough to finish mid-table and that's our expectation but we're not going to fund a promotion push" then, disappointing though it would be, I could respect the position.
What I can't respect is making noises about promotion being the expectation and constantly hinting at disappointment in the manager for not achieving perceived targets and leaving the manager alone to answer questions about the lack of spending. If we can't spend the Scott money for a good reason, fine, but the CEO should be fronting that decision and explaining it to the fans - not leaving the manager to take the flak. That's just shitty behaviour in any profession.
POst of the day!

I honestly think our clubs become a bit of a joke in some respects. Lansdown is well and truly sticking up 2 fingers to Nige. Used and abused him massively. All so mr Lansdown can sell the club more easily and make it more attractive on a purely financial aspect. He’s as they say on the beach already. Downed tools.

Usually I wouldn't be too concerned and say a bit of disagreement between two senior figures at a football club isn't necessarily a bad thing.
But Nige was lucky to survive the push last season and that was with Richard Gould who was more likely to fight his corner. Nige won't be afforded the same this time around.
It's a crap cliche and said too much on football, AND it's still incredibly early doors, but Nige does "need results" and he needs them pretty quickly.
Hanging around the bottom 8 isn't going to be tolerated again.
I genuinely feel for Nige! It feels like Mr Lansdown has used him to dig ‘his’ club out of right bloody mess, and is basically hanging the poor man out to dry.
Selling the star player for a club record £25 million and telling him you can’t have any money to reinvest “oh by the way Nige your expected to push for playoffs this year, or your gone” F*****g joker!

Chaos come when Lansdown doesn’t renew Pearson’s contract after all the good work and we end up back at square one
It would be bloody typical wouldn’t it

It’s a shame but fair play to the guy. After continuous knock backs coming through youth systems, he has taken the chance we rightly so gave him! Netted us our outgoing transfer record and is going to tear up the prem next season! I feel like a proud dad tbh! Thanks Alex and good luck.

To be fair I dont think Conway has earned it. I Dont think Ross has had the best of seasons either to be honest, but they are short in his position and it also helps he can play in multiple positions!
