Looks as though Phantom will lose his marbles before Alex Scott is sold. The 159 pointless pages have certainly taken a toll on our poor moderator

Would say they’d have to be announced tomorrow, still nothing on the website. Quite odd considering you’d imagine a decent amount of kids will get players name and number on their kits.
My thoughts exactly

Apologies for the new thread, have searched for the Kit Numbers thread but haven’t been able to find it.
I know for many they’re of little consequence, but where are our Kit numbers?
-
As much as the appearance of the collar is getting pelters. Has anyone considered that perhaps the players have had in input into the comfortability of the kit. Maybe the collar rubbed a bit too much so the designer have done what they can without changing the kit. I remember flint constantly complaining about the red nipple he’d receive off of the Bristol Sport kits.
For once the club genuinely seems on the up, a Harry hill collar is of little significance.

What's he been spot on with out of interest? Never heard of him and his recent tweets suggest he knows nothing more than the rest of us.
What I do agree with him is that a deal WORTH £25m could be acceptable to City. I've never thought, nor have I heard, City saying the £25m has to be up front or even guaranteed.
So for example £22m plus a few mill in realistic add ons could be acceptable.
Things are quiet and I think that means things are progressing behind closed doors.
IIRC he was the first to break the Roberts story and has been most accurate as a source of city knowledge in the past 18 months or so

The ex-journo, argyle fan on twitter that’s usually spot on with regard City…

Interesting topic for debate.
Heres a list of players signed by SOD for us:
Brendan Moloney
Brian Howard
Jordan Wynter
Aden Flint
Derrick Williams
Frank Fielding
JET
Scott Wagstaff
elliott Parrish
Marlon Harewood
Marlon Pack
Nicky Shorey
Proper mixed bag that. Probably a 50/50 split between the good and the bad/ugly.
football under him was dire and we were definitely heading into League 2 under him.
but he inherited a lot of dross from McInnes and had to clear the decks, and SC definitely benefitted from that.
Who the hell is Brian Howard!

Whilst I’m quite a fan of the new training gear and the logo throwback - it is unique in an age when “City” means only one thing - the fact that a spoilt man child can completely change a clubs identity is insane.
Imagine being a new signing on your first day of preseason training, thinking you’ve signed for the boys in red. I Would love to have heard the convo between some of the veterans too. The fact that it’s so under the carpet without any acknowledgement from the media team makes it worse.
The sooner junior Landsdown is out the better. He makes a mockery of himself through the medium of this Football Club, established in 1894, at every single opportunity.

I don’t dismiss your information, however all the press from here, the south coast and derby indicate the deal is done.
Pete O’Rourke tends to be wholly accurate when announcing a deal is done with us and those ITK - not just on here - that have almost never put a foot wrong have stated the deal would be announced today

…(insert current Bristol Rovers manager name here) being a whore?
This one gets wheeled out every week from the corner of the south stand and it’s an absolute embarrassment that has no place in football stadiums…or anywhere else in fact. It’s abhorrent.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy some of the more good humoured chants levelled at the opposition, but this goes too far for me. Have I sung inappropriate songs at football before? Yes. When I first started attending games as a teenager back in the early 90s I was influenced by what I heard around me and joined in. Do I regret that? Yes. But I was a product of what I was surrounded by…I didn’t know any better.
I now take my own son to watch City and whilst I accept there will be plenty of colourful language for him to hear, I make a point of talking loudly to him when chants like this are happening, in attempt to drown it out. I don’t want him to think it’s in any way acceptable to repeat that chant or think it’s ok to level that accusation, whether in jest or otherwise, at a woman. He is taught to respect women and he calls out misogynistic behaviour when he witnesses it.
As a club with a successful women’s team and a large number of female supporters, isn’t it about time we stopped this chant?
This is quite literally the reason the Family Stand exists

FIFA has ruled in favour of French striker Lois Diony & ordered Crvena zvezda (red star Belgrade) to pay him €520K in unpaid wages. Diony wasn't paid from October 2021 to March 2022.
The club will appeal the decision.
The club claims that Diony wasn't paid because he came drunk to training.

I understand this, although remember him also saying this in 2013 following the embarrassment that the years post 2010 were. I don't doubt his good intentions but the last few years have been eerily similar.
Johnson = Johnson Jr
Millen = Holden
Pearson = O'Driscoll?
His legacy should rightly be the massive infrastructure investments that he has made. There's many worse owners out there and I know that a new owner would be heaven or hell. Trouble is, I'm at the point of accepting that risk, because I'm absolutely sick of purgatory.
That means a Cotterill is next.
Pearson’s job has never been to get us promoted, he’s almost said as much. He came in to reset the club, clear the deadwood and, as much as he can, balance the books. We’ve made huge strides in all departments since he’s taken us over and I feel that’s evidenced by the capacity crowd at the weekend; the buzz around the place. In theory he’s laying the foundations for a successor, if it’s the right one, to achieve.
The question now is, has he completed his reset or is it ongoing? When is the correct time to appoint a successor that will hopefully thrive? The end of this season? The end of his contract? Or before then?I feel that needs stability upstairs, to enable downstairs to progress

Just to confirm...HNM's Agent/Advisor is his father.
He, his wife and 5 sisters moved here to be with Han.
I agree that City are seen as a stepping stone in his development and career.
Whilst they maybe happy with his development and how the club look after him, I feel not enough starts last season maybe why they are stalling.
He came here to play football.
On a side note...Kaliffe Cisse was playing a big role in his development here.
Is he still with us?
He also has two brothers. One was a guest of S82 before the pandemic

The reason kit announcements are delayed is to increase revenue. If they’re released all in one go people are more likely to only buy one shirt. That’s the only reason for delays; they’re not necessarily waiting for signings
