So sad, RIP. 54 is no age. He was a great striker for Arsenal.

Great player really classy with the ball and had knees made of glass like Paul Mcgrath.

Would really like to see what Tommy can do with the balls Robertson provides.
I wouldn't but whatever floats your boat.

I remember him as a old school centre half. I think TC signed him from Charlton.
Very sad that he has this horrible disease.

I have WE08 GAS on retention. With bcfc otib in small lettering underneath with a red pinstripe

Could Isaac Hayden be someone we might look to bring in?

Mebude probably would be better on Talksport though
He'd be even better with Richard Laltham & Nigel Turner on "The subs bench"

We need to sign atleast 2 or 3 quality signings to have a go at top 6. By this I mean spend a few quid., quality not quantity.Theres no point in signing 6 players for a million each expecting to polish a turd. Spend 2 or 3 million on a few with maybe a loan signing.

Was Joe Jordan, first time around.
If only he stayed. We would of gone up that year. He would be a great asset for the club at the moment though. DOF anyone?

I used to love listening to Nige and wouldn't miss a pre match or post match interview. Win, lose or draw. I've no interest at all what he has to say a bit like I got with LJ.

I never understand this. Warnock is brilliant, it’s not like we’ve ever been exciting to watch in recent years, had he got the job over LJ we would have been in PL by now, I strongly believe it. Look what he did at Cardiff on much less than LJ spent.
I totally agree with you I was so underwhelmed when LJ got the job and knew it would only go one way.

If we could get 3 points for passing back and sideways we'd be top of the league. That was absolutely pathetic.

He reminds of the bloke off the Tunes ad in the 80's.

What a lovely bloke we could do with his calibre of player now.

How typical would it be for us to go on a unbeaten run, make the playoffs and um f@£k it up. We must have the worst record of playoff defeats. Then again the law of averages say we must win them one day.
I don't think we will make top 6 but maybe top 10. We are to inconsistent but I would like to see us carry some momentum into next season where I think we will be stronger.

I think we will get something tonight.
I can't remember when we last beat Leeds? And I was 50 last week! And the 1974 game was near enough on my birthday, I think. I wasn't there

Moyes probably not reading too much into this as it’s only championship opposition…

Many years back we used to sing a song - “You’re so loud you sound like Aldershot!”.
I always knew that one day Aldershot would come up with the goods & no doubt they will reach the Premier League before us!!
Have we ever bought a player from Aldershot before??
We nearly got Dale Banton but he had a dodgy knee.
