He had a very good game here. His First goal at 2:26 is the pick here but 2nd goal also nice as well. He was full of running in this game and taking Burnley players on for fun.

Obviously highlights are just the best bits but he looks some player going by those goals .

  2. Met a few lads at work who were from north Bristol and they all supported Liverpool and not City or rovers . It was the weirdest thing ever . They all had strong Bristolian accents and were all born and raised in Bristol yet supported a team the other side of the country .

I hate rovers but I’ve got so much more time for someone who’s from Bristol and supports them rather than some tourist club up north .

Was thinking of starting one with a club in/around Glasgow and try to make them bigger than Celtic/Rangers.

Was looking at Clyde in Scottish League 2 and hoping they aren't part of the sectarian crap that Celtic and Rangers are.

    Queen’s Park ?

Completely agree. We have this insane fascination with ex-players who don't care about us, and do little for those who actually love the club. Marlon Pack was a good player for us, played for the Welsh, now plays for a club with nowt to do with us.

From Scott to Semenyo we seem satisfied with players going on to better things after playing for us, but also want ex-players who we know aren't good enough for City to do well. I hate it, it's a weak mentality. Hope we batter the shit out of them when we meet them next year.

I’m glad I’m not the only one . The one tthat gets me the most is the people who love Bobby Reid who’s from Bristol but supports Liverpool and jumped ship at the first chance possible to Cardiff , such a tinpot mentality from our fan base .

  5. I don’t mean to offend but why does anyone care about Marlon pack . He left and went to the only rivals we’ve had for the last 20 odd years . I don’t think you’d find another club who would keep ranting on about ex players who left them to go to a rival club ( for example Bobby Reid and pack) .

  6. Happy that city won and we got another three points on board but all we’ve done today is paper over the cracks .

Our performance today was horrific and unless there’s a big change in structure at this club we might as well give up hope of ever having a decent season at this level .

    "We"

    A very small minority

I wouldn’t say it’s a very small minority anymore , especially the last year or so .

Don’t get me wrong they’ve redeveloped the stadium nicely for concerts and business events but to us fans it’s surely on the pitch that matters . As a city the size of Bristol we are without a doubt the biggest under achievers in British football even dare I say it in Europe .

I personally am happy to take the risk of those morons selling up and someone else giving it a go . Everyone is entitled to their opinion as fans of the club but I just don’t understand how anyone can still get behind that ego driven and  incompetent family we have in charge at our club .

Flippin' eck. Give the guy a break. Do you know hard it is to get an away ticket for Leeds fans? I regularly bump into a bloke on my work commute who lives and works in Bristol but is a Leeds home and away season ticket holder. The latter are really hard to get.

Anyway, hope we stuff them tonight!

It’s not that hard . My mates from Wiltshire are Leeds fans who have only been to one away game all season and one home but they got 10 tickets in the away end tonight .

  9. Think radio bris said we have a better defensive record than Ipswich and maybe Southampton if I heard correct . I was angry when Pearson was sacked but from what I’ve seen glimpses of we should be near a decent season under manning .

  10. The flat atmosphere at the gate has always been down to out fans not having a whole end behind the goal to stand . When it was the eastend it was only half the stand and the same with the atyeo .

With the ground the way it is the only suitable option is to make the south stand standing like what Cardiff have with their canton end . Offer season ticket holders  in the south stand tickets in the Dolman and lansdown , those who say no shouldn’t complain about having a poor atmosphere.

Seems pretty clear that Dabo's head has gone in one way or another. He was one missed penalty (his own) away from the Premier League last season but 4 months later he's ended up at the bottom of L2 playing in front of <2000. That's got to have an impact on even the most resilient of mindsets. Probably why no-one else picked him up when Cov let him go. He seemed to be fairly well regarded by the Cov supporters last season.

During the play off finals the commentators kept mentioning he was gonna be out of contract and I remember thinking I really hope we go for him as he was a solid top 10 rb/rwb . When he signed for fgr I was shocked , what a fall from grace so quickly.

I’m talking about the extra stewards you were on about in the old  A block . They’ve been there without tickets for that section in the past that’s why there were extra stewards.
it’s two different discussions really because away fans will never be moved. The best solution would be like @Fuber said to move s82 to the old A & B blocks next to the away fans . That would still take some doing logistically , but it’s easier than moving the away fans.

Spot on , it wouldn’t be any different to where fans stand at Villa and Leeds so I can’t see any excuse about fans being in the way stood up in a and b block .

We’ve got a unique ground with the horseshoe concourse for home fans . I don’t know if any other grounds are set up like that. It’s easier to police like I said. Away fans enter from one entrance & are contained.
perhaps if little coked up ***** thinking their some sort of ultras firm  didn’t gather in E34 acting like bellends then they wouldn’t need to be policed.

Having a horseshoe shaped concourse has nothing to do with the south stand having safe standing and away fans still being in the atyeo . Just because people are stood trying to create an atmosphere in a stadium full of people sat on their hands doesn’t mean their coked up . I’ve never sniffed anything in my life but I’d rather stand and get behind the team than sit in silence freezing for 90 minutes.

Don’t know why people keep going over this. The club doesn’t care about atmosphere . The Atyeo is a separate stand . No need for segregation & much easier& cheaper to police. It’s never going to change

I’m sorry but how do other clubs manage then ?.  The amount of stewards in E34 and section 82 when there’s nothing to segregate could be much better put to use in a different ground lay out . There must be about 20 stewards stood on the steps in E34 just in our fans faces all game even though their just stood trying to create an atmosphere.
