Thought Williams and James really struggled to give an outlet in midfield, unsurprisingly.

Was most impressed with Bernardo and Foden. Poor Tanner had little support.

Got the impression he did little research on us before the game.

Thought they were stronger than when we last played them, and us weaker. Kalas and Scott our 2 best players….midfield unsurprisingly struggled, looked leggy.
 

The first goal was terrible defending. rest for Cardiff.

Early goal didn’t help and settled them but felt we showed far too much respect  and didn’t do ourselves justice.

Don’t think it flattered them at all. It was a stroll in the park for them, they could’ve upped it at any time. We did well but the gulf was huge.

Biggest disappointment for me is the ref performance.

We did well tonight. But as expected MCFC in 2nd gear and comfortable.
