Do you seriously think that in January we paid a million for Mehmeti, have Sam Bell as an alternative yet would sign a third player for that position?
You’re not Mark Ashton, are you?
No. I don’t think there is any chance. If we want playoffs neither of these 2 are good enough though.

In midfield now Dickie’s one match suspension is over we could use Naismith there. We also have James, Knight, Williams, Gardiner-Hickman & at a push, King.
Even if we had any funds we wouldn’t be adding another midfielder.
Striker. Left winger. Cam.

I would have taken a point beforehand, now a bit fed up it wasn't 3.
I no longer understand the offside rule as Nahki was onside when Knight hit his shot but borderline offside when the ball was deflected by a Hull player. If he was onside when Knight hit the ball, surely the deflection has no bearing?
Well played boys, particularly Knight and Kal.
According to the still he was offside when Knight shot….I thought he was on until I saw the pic.

Combination of them pushing a bit more probably and us sitting a bit. All the same he went quite off with that paragraph.
Think we'll be fine if we play like that. Bit of luck with injuries and officiating wouldn't go amiss either.
We have been decent away from home for a while. Home form major concern.

How do you know if someone is a qualified referee?
They will tell you
I ref with level 7 officials who spend at least £500 a year on kit, they love it.

They certainly had more ball and matched us better after the equaliser but his take makes it sound like they were pushing us in waves and we were just relying on some scrappy play.
I think he is exaggerating their dominance after the equaliser, but we did sit off a bit.

I bow to your greater knowledge as a qualified referee, but then again so are Linnington , Stroud and Davies!
You're not "The Academic " are you?
I ref with someone who is the exact same as Stroud, to be fair even refs at the lowest level take it very seriously, I don’t, i do it for the money really. I don’t know what your last academic question means.

A paragraph from Rosenior's post match. Thoughts.
"What pleased me was after they scored we gained control of the game again and then they didn't have a kick other than the long throws in our box from us being naive towards the end."
They did to be fair, once we scored we sat off them similar to how PNE did against us.

You have constantly said Hull had best chances (they really never), could've won it TWICE (they really couldn't have), listed their chances to tell us all how apparently great they were etc etc. If you are a City fan then I would be actually shocked how anyone can be so negative after that overall very decent performance. If you really are a City fan and are this negative after a performance like that then I suggest you get another hobby.
I'll tap out now. This is far too negative, you should be pleased with such an improved performance

I honestly think the negativity comes from 2 teams stopping us play at home. The 2 away performances have been just short of brilliant. Given the room and time to play we have looked every inch a top 8 team. The problem is 80% of our fanbase only sees the home games and the 2 so far have not been great.
We do need to find a way to play around a packed MF & defence, but at least they should acknowledge a very good performance when it happens.Stating the obvious.

Wells just offside for an equaliser, Williams should've scored, Sykes, Knight header, Wells overhead kick, Cornick (probably should've passed imo).
I guess they don't count and we should've just conceded all of your examples. Jeez.
I've never seen anyone post so negatively after an overall decent performance, come from a goal down away from home, and one where if one of the teams deserved to get the 3 points it was us.
Where did I say that we didn’t create our own chances?

I mean we have some negative posters on here, but **** me you seem to be on another level. Could've conceded 4 or 5, Hull missed best chances, Hull could've won it twice.
Did you watch the game looking at the radio?-they scored, they hit the post, twine free kick, Connolly missed 1-1 and max save from him on the angle. Pretty clear and obvious.

If you didn’t enjoy that away performance, barring the poor goal conceded, against a good side that we’ve dominated for a good chunks of the game. You’re either very young and haven’t watched us much before or football isn’t really your thing.
You seem to be getting previous games confused with tonight’s fixture.

First off - definitely deserved the point (at least)
General thoughts:
Naismith - excellent in distribution at the back. Adds so much and without Scott and the lack of creativity he either needs to be in the 3 in midfield or the two at the back. I’m tempted to consider the 3-5-2 again because I think Dickie and Vyner add so much and I think we lack quality up top
Knight - Again, excellent, best league game I’ve seen him have. Pressed, distributed, played very well and not bullied
Sykes - Another one who was very good - work rate superb, good quality. One of the three picks for me but Wells runs close
Overall a very good day. I still feel Bell isn’t showing enough to be in the side, but as an away performance overall, I think that was excellent.
Agree with all of this. Could’ve won it, could easily have lost it. Knight his best game for us. Bell the obvious weak link…..footballing brain, distribution, decision making miles off expected standard.

Really valuable asset to have.
Did more in his first 6 months than ODowda did in his entire bcfc career.

Good point that could have been 3 on another day.
Now can everybody please calm the **** down? Been absolutely toxic on here in the past week.
On another day we could’ve been humped….. 2 mid table teams.

Could’ve conceded 4 or 5 to be fair.

In recent years have we made a better signing in terms of his price and goals/assists ratio? Scores valuable goals, gets into great positions and can cross and assist. He seems to have this habit of getting into great positions.
We have made some terrible signings in recent years but he is very much a success in my view.

Think Knights header was a golden chance
Those are always tricky got to the get so much right….Connolly a one on one far easier chance.

Good performance, but two points dropped for me. Sykes, Williams and Cornick all failed to take golden chances to win it. Knight looked superb and Naismith’s vision helps.
Connolly missed the 2 best chances of the game.

Draw a fair result. We got into some good positions without testing their keeper. Hull could’ve won it twice with Connolly. He missed best chance of the game.
Disapointed we sat back after the equaliser, they were there for the taking.
2 mid table teams based on todays evidence.

Since we’ve scored we have sat back frustrating.

I think it was the Hull subs that actually helped them get a foothold in the game, the ironic thing is that they came on just before we equalised.
