I’m not a Cornick hater but it’s a bad miss, can’t believe the support for the keeper.

Massive dilemma for me, I would love Leeds to get relegated but then we have to deal with easily the most annoying fans I have witnessed at Ashton in my 50 odd years of watching City. Even more annoying than Rovers, never thought it would be possible.

That was my first away game, I was about 12 years old and went on the train with some mates. I seem to remember it was early on in the season and we were still on school holidays, we were discussing on the way back if we would have to write about “what we did in the holidays” The stories of that day would of surprised the teachers.

TimTam is virtually a Penguin but not as good. Chocolate Hobnobs are the greatest biscuit ever, I know they are available in USA, some towns have international food markets where you can get them.

Are City like England / England like City?

Absolutely spot on, been saying it for years. Both teams promise so much but deliver so little. -
Great goal by Radford for Hereford but the thing I’ll always remember is the pitch being invaded by thousands of green parka’s

Adam Webster going to the World Cup?
candygram for mongo replied to Touch_my_butter's topic in Football Chat
I think Dan Burn has a better chance than Webster personally. -
I usually get to my seat about 30 seconds before kick off but today I was in there a lot earlier. I was really pleased to hear “Back Home In Bristol” blaring out approx 10 minutes before kick off, was this the first time this song has been played or have I missed it due to my tardiness? Also, could the words be put up on the screen so this song could be a new and welcome anthem, (the “I can’t read & write song is a total embarrassment)

I went to Turin to watch Juventus a few years ago, every taxi driver we spoke to supported Torino and had a real hatred of Juve.

The only England away game I have attended, it was a great weekend except the amount of time we were kept in the ground after, 3 hours if I remember correctly. It was the first time I had heard the “great escape” tune and always remember blokes whistling the tune as we were walking through the airport on the Sunday, I believe it would be referred to as an “ear worm” these days.

I’d just moved into a house by myself, didn’t have any furniture, watched the game sat in a deck chair, happy days.
