I agree with this against Southamptton and would always start Knight against better teams.
If you come back and say something similar against QPR, Sheff Wed etc etc , teams we should be creating chances against then we will most definitely be in the play off race. Won't hold my breath though.
Anyone know why that Anthony Evans is still playing at L1 level? Always got a goal in him from midfield and looked quality when I saw him
Maybe one for
@Harry?
I wouldn't say that side has anywhere near the quality of Leeds, certainly going forward.
A good Championship squad whereas Rutter, Gnonto, Summerville are PL level
I've always thought the opposite, that they overachieve for the size of the club always being in the Prem (Coventry kind of level). Nowhere near a Sunderland or a Leeds.
Our home support has largely been the same all season give or take 1,000 between 20,000 to 21,000 with the away fans dictating the actual published attendance between 20,500 and 24,000
If ever a graphic summed us up
Do well against our peers and the truly bad teams , hit a wall against parachute quality and cannot put away defensive lower mid table teams
It's the latter costing us a play off push
It would be very nice to get a statement win against a parachute top three club for once v Southampton if we are looking to be a top half club. Most of the clubs above us have managed it last season (Leicester 0-1 Hull for example) but we hardly ever do
Sorry but you are mixing up Ake and Lewis there as its Ake further forward in the pic
Man City 100% played a back four against us with Lewis sometimes pushing into central midfield
